GET YOUR TRIPLES OUT FOR 2021!  2021 MIDWEST RIDE-IN January 29-31, 2021 ERX Motor Park, Elk River, MN The Elk River Motorsports Park in Elk River Minnesota is a world-class facility dedicated to all forms of motorsports that got it s start with snowmobiles! There is ample parking, a beautiful facility for our live action, awards ceremony and banquet, a snow race track (no worries about low-snow seasons, they can make their own!) and miles of trails that leave right from the facility. The Midwest Vintage Ride-In is the world's biggest family-friendly vintage snowmobile get together. Our Organizational Committee is working hard to hold our end-of-January event. For now, ITS A GO !!!We are so pleased to partner with ERX Motor Park, where they held may summer events with great success: ERX has put on five summer shows this CIOVID summer ERX works proactively with 4 State agencies, notably MN Health Dept and Attorney General s Office. Lots of phone calls and published health safety plans ERX proactively seeks input from City of Elk River and Sherburne County No one from the State has announced their attendance at these events The City and County report NO Covid cases that were attributed to ERX eventsSO, for now we are proceeding with plans to hold our show. Some indoor events (like the Banquet) will not happen, but we promise a fun weekend with the sights, sounds and smells of old-snowmobiles in the cold crisp Minnesota winter air Keep posted Held annually at the Elk River Motorsports Park (ERX) in Elk River Minnesota. It s a snowmobile ride on beautiful Minnesota trails, the world s largest show of old sleds, trail ride, judged show, youth races, vintage snowmobile racing.Come celebrate winter with some of the finest folks in the world on January 29th, 30th and 31st 2021. I-500, Cross Country and terrain racers will be highlighted, but ALL brands and types of sleds are welcome! Remember the famed Winnipeg to St. Paul  I-500?How about the Jeep 500, ISOC 500, or the Warroad 500.How about the Regina to Minot I-250, and other races like it? We expect this to be a good theme with plenty of indoor displays, speakers and programs.Save January 24-26, 2020 on your calendar and come to Elk River to see it for yourself. Or dust off that sled and come ride with us through the Minnesota countryside. The Winnipeg to St. Paul I-500 was a legendary race in the world of snowmobiling.  It was perhaps the first big money, big exposure race to enter the sport.  It captured the essence of snowmobiling: traveling cross-country in the dead of winter, something no other vehicle on earth other than a snowmobile could handle. The course was made up of the terrain that defined the race including woods, river, ditch and fields.It was days of punishing, high-speed competition that created heroes and legends that endure to this day. Here is our answer, courtesy of a local snowmobile club the Elk Lake EZ Riders.A typical count served up: 2.219 pork chops, 1,215 hamburgers, 600 hot dogs, 31 gallons of home-made chili.The lElk River EZ Riders Club serves the most addicting, awesome tasting pork chops you ll ever enjoy on a cold winter day. people come to the event just for the pork chops. Fresh, BBQ d right outside and seasoned to perfection it s no wonder these amazing things often make people ask: Vintage snowmobiling isn t all about the machines. Just How Big is the Midwest Ride-in that will be held in Elk River, Minnesota in 2020? This is Sunday. Foreground is the sleds lined up for the judged show.
