All the medical equipment has been interfaced to SAEMED medical record system, a web-based biometric software application allowing access anywhere anytime from around the world including network of clinics, hospitals and medical facilities onboard cruise ships. 25 years of continued expertise in international maritime health enhanced with several years of resource and development in the latest information technology, allowed us to complete this pioneer project as the world first health group of companies. Our fully motivated and highly qualified team of medical, IT and administrative staff, is consistently striving to provide services of excellence to the shipping and the world community, aiming for a better quality of life, safer and more efficient international travel and maritime transportation. Awards and Accreditations On 03 February 1998, MCIS acquired the distinction of being one of the first medical clinics in the Philippines awarded with an ISO 9002 certification, and then upgraded to 9001:2008 and to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Its current ISO certifying body is Bureau Veritas Certification Philippines (BVCP). The clinic is accredited by the Department of Health, Philippine Overseas Employment Agency, the Marina, the Norwegian Maritime Directorate, Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate and the Embassy of Sweden. It also issues medical certificates for NIS, Danish, Panamanian, Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore, Malaysian, Marshall Islands, Antigua & Barbuda, Liberian, Bahamas, Malta, Dutch, Chinese/Hongkong and Swedish flagships.
