You will love Kona golf! Prepare yourself for an unparalleled golfing experience. Our course is a pleasure for golfers of any skill level to play. Test your accuracy with our fairways, water hazards and sand traps; we have everything you need to challenge you and improve your game. The State of Hawaii will permit golf with the implementation practices to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19. For us to abide by social distancing standards and create a safe environment for everyone, we need your help. Here are the rules all golfers and guestsmustfollow: 6 feet social distancing anywhere on the property at ALL times. You are in a social distancing zone while at Makalei. All Tee times can be paid by phone, online or upon check in at window or proshop Rental Clubs are available. Do not remove or handle the Flagsticks. All rakes have been removed from the course. Do not use the ball washers.Services The Golf Course will be open from 7am to 5:30pm. The first tee time is 7:00am. The last tee time is 1:30pm. Golfers may play less than 18 holes in the afternoon;however, the fee is the same as for 18 holes.All carts must be returned to the cart area by 5:30pm. Snacks Beverage willbe available for purchase. Bottled water will be provided in your cart. The Driving Range is closed until September 1st. Do not attempt to retrieve balls on the driving range. Restrooms in the clubhouse and on the course will be available and will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Carts will be sanitized after each use and any amenities including bottled water, scorecards, pencils, and cart keys will be carefully placed by our staff wearing gloves. Please call the Golf Shop if you see anyone not practicing these safety rules. If the problem continues, that individual will be asked to leave the premises.
