Election Day is here, and Duke students have made their plans to watch the results—conclusive or not—come in. Some will attend a virtual watch party as they wait with bated breath to see what happens in the contest between incumbent President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Others plan to watch with smaller groups or do their best not to focus on election coverage at all. Reggie Love, Trinity ‘05 and a former personal aide to President Barack Obama, is now on the virtual campaign trail. It’s hard to say anything about Havas’s game with much confidence, as the walk-on from Lafayette College has had a career average of only 14 minutes per game, in a conference not exactly known for television exposure. The theme of the Blue Devils’ 2020 campaign has been a new and improved team culture, and that couldn’t have been more apparent in their fall season finale. Worthington is going to need to make the most out of his limited minutes and show the coaching staff he can be trusted with more important minutes in the future.
