Supreme Commander's Message Listen Cooties, I am humbled and excited to be your Supreme Commander this year. I look forward to the time when we can meet in person and partake in some Cootie Milk while applying the Sulphur Ointment of Happiness together. Please let our Supreme Hungry Cootie know of any Grand level scratches, Council of Administration meetings or MOC events so he can keep the organization informed. He and the Supreme Newshound / Supreme Geek will try to keep the LOTCS.ORG calendar updated with your information. It would be nice to have as many events listed as possible. We will limit it to Grand level and above since Pup Tent activities would cause the calendar to be overpopulated. I plan to use a monthly newsletter (the Cootie Tickle) to communicate the all MOC and MOCA members. It will not only be sent out via email, but also posted on LOTCS.ORG. I want to not only highlight Supreme level activities, travel and announcements, but also publicize a different Grand level program each month.To view the entire newsletter, please click on the link to the right. For the first Cootie Tickle program, I want to encourage everyone to become a Paddy Daddy member. This outstanding program has been around for many years and is sponsored by “Ee CHI GAI” Pup Tent # 2 in the fertile hunting grounds of South Korea. I was an Atom in South Korea and appreciate the lousy Cooties there. More information may be found in the Program Book on page 23. Any new sign up for this program will also get my Supreme Commander’s Coin sent to them. Just let me know via email (LTDARIN@YAHOO.COM) with your mailing address and I will send you my personal Commander’s coin after verifying the membership with the Grand of the Pacific’s PT#2. OBJECTIVE: The Grand of Pacific invites you to become a member of the Paddy Daddy Program established in 1994 to benefit the VFW National Home at Eaton Rapids, Michigan. MISSION: Proceeds from this program are donated to support the VFW National Home for Children Special Projects from the Grand of Pacific Areas. MEMBERSHIP: Application can be used for signing up Comrades, Cooties, Friends, Family, and yes, even your Pets can be signed up! Please fill out as many applications as you like for a very good cause. Send the application to along with a check made out to Ee CHI GAI” Pup Tent # 2, in the amount of USD $25.00, and your Certificate, Card and Pin will be mailed to you. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to Email Donald Kelley at don@vfw10223.org. As we look into the new year, Grand Commanders and Seam Squirrels should read up on the Ritual. I won’t go into detail here, but I encourage you to exercise “Show Me” and not only practice the Boot, Shoe and Hat tradition, but know the reason behind it. Some of you may said, “I do not know” what those mean, so I encourage you to learn. Those things are a part of our traditions. We should have fun, enjoy our traditions, but also encourage Atoms into our seams. Our Supreme Hungry Cootie will be scheduling our first CofA for Saturday, August 22nd. Any Cootie may attend the CofA, but only members of the Supreme Council will vote. We have several things to approve such as the annual budget and policy. I’m sorry not to list all time zones where there are Cooties, but here is the continental United States start time: Pacific Time: 1600 hours Mountain Time: 1700 hours Central Time: 1800 hours Eastern Time: 1900 hours.
