Hands-Free solution when stirring, seasoning or plating the foodKeeps lid nearby and off the counter and out of the sinkBuilt-in reservoir collects the messy condensationKeeps your countertop free and cleanStores inside most slow cookersFits most slow cookers 2-qt. and Up; rim size up to .75"Lid Pocket is great for home use, potlucks, parties and tailgating!Made in the USA.1 medium onion, diced7 strips of thick bacon, cooked and diced (I make it in the oven; 375 degrees; 15-20 minutes)1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme2 bay leavesSalt and pepper, to taste4 (6 1/2 ounce) cans chopped clams (including juice)2 cups heavy cream (or half and half if for a lighter chowder)1 cup whole milkInstructionsAdd cream of mushroom soup, potatoes, celery, garlic, onion, bacon, basil, thyme, bay leaves, salt and pepper to slow cooker and mix.Cook on HIGH for approx. 4-5 hours – until potatoes are tender.Then Add: - Clams (including juice);  cream and milkAlmost ready to eat!   Cook around 5-10 minutes – until heated through.Season with salt and pepper, to taste.  (Remove bay leaves before serving.)This chowder is so amazingly delicious!  You will never buy canned clam chowder again! 3 cloves garlic, minced2 15-ounce cans cannellini beans, rinsed (add 3 cans for a more hearty soup!)1 32-ounce box low-sodium chicken broth2 teaspoons salt½ teaspoon ground pepper2 teaspoons red-wine vinegar1 jar of Pesto for topping (I used a 6.7 ounce jar) Directions:Put into slow cooker and combine:  onion, carrots, green beans, celery, kale, zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, beans, broth, salt and pepper (6 qt + slow cooker).Cook on High for 4 approximately hours.After cooking:Add 2 teaspoons red-wine vinegar; stirTop each bowl with 1-2 teaspoons of PESTO! So good!  Enjoy!
