Event description Description

Courtney Consulting Enterprises, LLC and our co-sponsor, The Cornell Business and Technology Park are the official simulcast partners for the first day of the The Lean Startup Conference.

We will stream the entire singletrack event on Monday, December 3 in Ithaca, NY from 11:00 AM- 9:00 PM EST. (Please note that we're "livestreaming" the first day of the conference from San Francisco (PST), so that's why the hours are longer for those of us streaming from the east coast).

Whether you can spend the whole day, part of the day or just stop in after work- this event is designed to build a strong network of "go-to" resources for your entrepreneurial ventures and endeavors. But please get your tickets right away, as seating is limited.

"I think the Lean Startup philosophy is spot-on. I started my career in manufacturing which is where the "lean philosophies" got their start. What works for making car parts also works for making great startups!"

-Brad Treat, Founder CEO Mezmeriz, Inc.

Entrepreneurship IS for Everyone!

The Lean Startup Conference in Ithaca

The exciting and engaging Lean Startup Conference brings together innovators from startups and established organizations alike to share lessons for building profitable lean organizations.

This simulcast/streaming event is open to the public.

The Conference Line-Up

On Monday, December 3, the biggest names in The Lean Startup world and a slew of entrepreneurs will gather at The Lean Startup Conference in San Francisco.

Since many of us are BIG "lean" fans but couldn't travel to CA and/or didn't want to shell out over $899 plus airfare, then please join us here in Ithaca's lovely Cornell Business and Technology Park at 33 Thornwood Drive for a fraction of the cost!

Come to this event to watch, learn and discuss how to be more innovative, use people's time better, and be more successful!

The Lean Start-Up Model

Whether you're new to Lean Startup methods, have read Eric Ries' book or have been putting these practices to use in your organization for a while, this event promises to educate and inform.

The Lean Startup Conference brings together innovators from startups, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations to share lessons for building profitable lean organizations.

More than 30 entrepreneurs will speak about their first-hand experiences, with keynotes including:

Marc Andreessen, co-founder and general partner at Andreessen HorowitzSteve Blank, serial entrepreneur, author, lecturer at StanfordBeth Comstock, chief marketing officer at GEEric Ries, author of The Lean Startup

"While knowledge about the new science of entrepreneurship has gone global, startup ecosystems are always local."

How The Ithaca Lean Start-Up Event is Organized

Come to 33 Thornwood Drive at the Cornell Business and Technology Park to NETWORK and meet fellow entrepreneurs interested in creating and managing successful startups.

We'll share coffee, tea and pastries as we begin our day of networking and engagement. The day begins with a high-powered networking coffee at 10:00 a.m. The Livestream event will begin at 11:00 and run into the evening, ending at 9:00 PM EST.

There will be snacks and beverages served throughout the day and pizza for lunch at 12:30 p.m. and dinner at 5:00 p.m. An after-hours gathering will feature snacks and drinks and run from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

You have the option of attending for all events, half day (mid-morning or afternoon), or just dropping by after work.

If you're coming for the entire day and don't want pizza for both your meals, feel free to bring a bag lunch!

Please note that you can come for a full day, a half day, just a few hours, or planning to stop by after work- it's all up to you!

Networking Opportunities Abound!

In addition to watching the Lean Startup Conference, you'll be able to network, strategize and chat with other super smart people in break-out rooms right off the viewing area so you can talk with one another, collaborate, share ideas and "lean lessons" together.

Please note: Bringing your dog-eared or e-reader copy of

"The Lean Startup" is recommended.

Bringing your ideas and enthusiasm is required!

What You'll Gain

Whether you can spend the whole day, part of the day or just stop in after work- this event is designed to build a strong network of "go-to" resources for your entrepreneurial ventures and enterprises.

Together, we'll learn how to quickly test ideas (assumptions) and either validate and move on or invalidate them and pivot.

We'll explore the systematic framework that will make a difference to YOUR industry or organization.

And we'll bond over a high-powered and fun networking event that will empower YOU to make an even greater impact in the world around you.

We all have a precious inner-gift. Entrepreneurial thinking and strategies will help you discover what that gift is, and then share it with the world.

Entrepreneurship IS for Everyone!
