Miamisburg beat Kettering Fairmont on Saturday afternoon in a girl s GWOC contest.  The Vikings had a 12-7 lead after the first quarter.  In the 2nd quarter, the Firebirds got in foul trouble and the Vikings went on a 9-0 run.  At the half, it was 34-12.  The Firebirds could never recover and dropped the contest The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds finally opened their 2020-2021 campaign when they traveled to Miamisburg to dual the Vikings on 12/30/20.  It was a back and forth battle that ended in 42-42 tie.  The Vikings claimed the victory by criteria (least forfeits surrendered), making the final official score 43-42 Miamisburg.
