Department of Family and Community Medicine UNM HSC hosted the WONCA Rural Health Conference 2019. Thank you to our UNM colleagues who added to the high quality and engagement of the conference. The UNM Department of Family Community Medicine (DFCM) stands in support and solidarity with our DACA and immigrant communities in this time of insecurity and fear regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) protections policy. The DFCM acknowledges and values each member of the human race, regardless of immigration status or country of origin and will continue to support all who may be affected by the DACA decision. Department leadership will work to ensure that higher education is accessible and inclusive and undocumented patients continue to receive high quality health care. How do our views about others effect our individual functioning or the functioning of the unit as a whole?
