Justice, My Nightmares of Today! 1 Reply

There are certain things I dream about as I am tossing and turning during a sleepless night. One of these dreams involve our elections. Do we have honest elections? I have that particular dream because some states used vote counting software that was designed to overturn elections in third world crap holes. Do our elections replicate those third world crap holes for which it was designed? In line with that, I also wonder why no law enforcement agency, in particular the FBI, did not investigate any of the numerous complaints about voter fraud in our last election. The FBI did find a mountain of uppers when it came to arresting anyone that entered the Capitol building on January 6th of this year, however. I would feel much better if some of that new-found energy would have been used to investigate those claims of voter fraud. I would definitely sleep better, if I thought our elections were honest. Remember this. Our elections are only as honest as the election officials responsible for the voting sites.

In continuation, wouldnt it be assuring if only American citizens were voting in our elections? Would it be a stretch to require a photo ID? In our state, it is a requirement. We voted with an absentee ballot during one election, and we had to go to a government building, produce an ID, and watched as our names were stricken from the election roles as having voted. We were mailing in our ballots. The state of Georgia went so far as to say that requiring a photo ID is racist. Racist? Will someone educate me as to how providing a photo ID to vote would be racist?

But here is my most disturbing dream. It is the dream that almost sets my asbestos sheets on fire from the friction created by my tossing and turning. Here it is: If we defund the police, what will the replacement be? This dream is not only troubling, but it is timely, because next week the City of Minneapolis is having an election, and one of the items on the ballot is to defund the police. Homicides in Minneapolis and St. Paul have almost doubled this year. Many police close to retirement, opted out of the police force to retire. Many more have just left the police profession. Both cities are at least 1/3 short of the necessary police required. This has put quite a strain on those remaining officers. It has increased the reaction times for these departments because they are understaffed. And now, the geniuses in Minneapolis want to defund the remaining remnants of a once very good police department. Why?

I will tell you why, even though you may not appreciate my logic. Minneapolis and St. Paul are not the only cities facing this same crisis. Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles have all had their policing issues. But the catalyst for defunding the police took place right in Minneapolis with the death of George Floyd on May 5, 2020.

George Floyd, according the trial, was killed by officer Derek Chauvin. But was he?

Let me provide this assessment of the already familiar event. Firstly, would George Floyd be dead if he did not pass counterfeit money? No. The police would not have been called. Secondly, would George Floyd be dead if he got into the back of the police car without resisting arrest, as he did. No. There would not have been any reason to restrain him. Thirdly, would George Floyd have died if he wasnt full of a high-ball of illicit drugs? That would be a resounding maybe, because that is what the coroners report said killed George Floyd. According to that report, as bad as the knee to the neck restraint that Derek Chauvin utilized looked, that was not what killed George Floyd. If you believe the coroner, it was from complications from existing health issues coupled with the drug highball. So.in a matter of less than 20 minutes, George Floyd passed counterfeit money, resisted arrest, and topped it all by being addled with illicit drugs. Derek Chauvin had nothing to do with the causes of any of these George Floyd events.

Exactly what was Derek Chauvin guilty of? I believe he was guilty of two things. Firstly, he was guilty of being the ranking and most experienced police officer that answered the call. This was beyond his control. Secondly, and most importantly, Derek Chauvin was guilty of familiarity. Unfortunately, Derek Chauvin knew George Floyd, knew of his criminal background using weapons, and knew of his prison time. He also knew George Floyd was working as a bouncer, and knew that George Floyd had a physical presence that would be difficult to contend with. George Floyd is tall, muscular, and has not hesitated to use his size and muscle in the commission of some of his past crimes. With all of that, the ranking police officer, regardless of who it was, needs to take control of the situation. Unfortunately, it was Derek Chauvin. Officer Chauvin realized quickly that George Floyd was on some kind of drug. Ambulances were summoned. (Did you know that some police departments have gotten rid of their 9mm caliber service weapons in favor of larger calibers? That is because some drug addled shooters were so pumped up on drugs that the smaller caliber was not bringing them down! An experienced Derek Chauvin would know this. I digress.)

Now racial justice takes over and the riots occur for four days with few arrests before the Mayor of Minneapolis or the Governor of Minnesota take action. Over 500 businesses are destroyed and looted. To further promote and legalize racial justice, a Black Lives Matter fund of $20 million was provided for posting bonds for any of the arrested looter/arsonists. (No money for the victims who lost their livelihoods, just for the people who destroyed those livelihoods!)

Prematurely, before any investigation of depth, Derek Chauvin is arrested, jailed, and fired from the police department. (Never mind the facts.public opinion demands it!)

The City of Minneapolis, in another premature and stupid move, awarded the Floyd family a $27 million settlement before the Derek Chauvin trial. (This is the same family he had not seen for 6 years.)

The national media could not stop running the tape of Derek Chauvin putting his knee on George Floyds neck. Never mind the results of the coroners report, Chauvin killed George Floyd! And.George Floyd went from violent gun toting criminal who served prison time to national black hero and martyr! The woman who filmed the whole event on her cell phone got a Pulitzer prize!

Now, after all of this, Derek Chauvin goes to trial.on national television! The judge, in his desire to look better than Judge Judy, did not sequester the jury. He did, however, instructed the jury to not watch television news. What an idiot! 65% of all Americans get their news off the internet, and the jury was not prohibited from using their devices. They knew what was happening all over the country about rioting that was planned with a not guilty verdict, and they knew of their notoriety on the internet! After one of the most lopsided, kangaroo court procedures known to man took place, Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second degree murder, plus some other tacked-on charges. (As an aside, in Minneapolis, two black men arrested in separate incidents, both accused of homicide, were freed from jail because their high bonds were paid for by left over funds from the BLM $20 million get-out-of-jail bond money. Within 6 months, they killed three more people. Did you hear about that on national TV? Did you even know of it? Racial justice?)

After the trial, two of the jurors said that they were afraid to vote not-guilty, because they knew what would occur (rioting, looting and burning!) as they lived in areas that were originally burned after Floyds death! So here is the big question: Did Derek Chauvin receive justice, or was he the victim of racial justice? What if Derek was a black cop? What if Floyd was a white victim? If either was true, would there have even been a trial?

With all of this in mind, I return to my original premise; what will replace the police department? And.more importantly, because of the George Floyd death, and trial of Derek Chauvin and the continual media assertion of police brutalitywhat public-serving intelligent person would want to be a cop?

My guess? Less people will want to enter the law enforcement profession, police departments will lower their standards, and we will end up with a lower standard of police departments in those cities that keep catering to the crooks rather than supporting the police.

Good luck, Minneapolis. If you defund the police, you will deserve everything that you will get.

P.S. Derek Chauvin should have been disciplined. He did not wake up that morning thinking, I am going to kill George Floyd today. It was an unfortunate event that took place while the police were doing their job. In my mind, George Floyd killed George Floyd. America needs to get its priorities straight, do we want a nation protected by dedicated police, or some other half-baked solution that would lead to anarchy, much like what the advocates of racial justice are promoting. Its an easy choice: either support the police or idolize the thugs.

QUIT LOOKING FOR ALIENS! THEYVE ALREADY LANDED! 1 Reply

I grew up during a time when, if you thought you had an alien encounter, you were just thought to be two bricks short of a load. The butter had melted off your cob. Your lights were on, but nobody was home. Wellyou get the point. Not much was ever said about alien encounters in the sixties. But then a weird thing occurred. During one of our classes, the teacher asked if anyone ever thought they had observed anything associated with the unexplained. In other words, an alien encounter. Over half the class, had said they had, (including me!) and this lead to some really, really interesting stories. But, unfortunately, that is not the subject of this blog.

The original purpose of writing this blog, which began in 2012, was to apply common sense ideas and solutions to current problems. So today, these common sense ideas are going to be applied to the fact that we can cease looking for life from other planets, get rid of your telescopes, defund any planetariums, because; they are already here!

We are all painfully aware of the destruction, shootings, violent crime, civil disobedience that has recently occurred as a result of the death of George Floyd. All of the 50 major cities in the U.S. have seen higher incidences of theft, homicide, car jackings, rape.you name the crime category, and it has increased significantly in all of these cities. To say that solutions are being debated at all levels of government from local to federal would be an understatement. But, leave it up to our wisely chosen elected federal officials to come up with the best solutions. Enter: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), U.S. representative from the great state of New York. The very verbal AOC said this in May of this year, To reduce violent crime, America needs to stop building more jails. Say what? Now what person from planet Earth, would think this was a viable solution? Less jails=less crimes? If I didnt know she was serious, I would think this was a Saturday Night Live skit, and I would be laughing my donkey off! (Remember: I have young, impressionable grandkids, so I cant say laughing my ass off!)

But I would like to point out one more statement by the ever popular representative who has never met a television camera she didnt love. During a House Commission on illegal aliens in March of 2019, Representative Ocasio-Cortez said that, illegal aliens are my constituents. Now that presents two points of view. When she mentioned illegal aliens, was she talking about people from Central America, or, people from Alpha Centauri? You be the judge. I could max out the memory on my computer by quoting other AOC comments, but one can only pick so much low-hanging fruit before your basket is full. Suffice it to say that her other comments are, out of this world, too. (Cue the Twilight Zone theme song.)

It is obvious to me that aliens are not only here singularly, but have managed to reproduce and congregate.

Do you remember a few years ago, when all statues that were associated with the Civil War had to be removed? Why? Well it was stated that these men who fought for the South, were found to be offensive by large segments of our population. I am not sure what percentage of the population found them offensive, but the statues had to go. Enter: the City of Newark, New Jersey. In light of all that has happened this past year, they erected a 700 pound bronze statue of George Floyd outside the Newark city hall. Who from this planet would honor a convict and thug? And.quite honestly, I find a statue of George Floyd to be offensive, so I want it down and it can be stored with the Civil war statues! (Why not a statue of a soldier, fireman, or policeman? Why not Buddy Valastro from Carlos Bakery for all the charity work he has done in the Newark area? Just sayin.) George Floyd would not be dead if he had not passed a counterfeit bill. Floyd would probably not be dead if he wasnt full of illegal drugs. Floyd would probably not be dead if he did not resist arrest. So tell me Earthlings, why does someone with 6 years of prison time and a long rap sheet deserve public monies to be spent on a statue? His death is a tragedy, but his life sure as hell is not noteworthy of praise. The decision by the City of Newark is another decision that is out of this world.)

But just like the paid infomercials on television: But waitthere is more!

There is only one group of aliens that can show their true colors better than AOC or the City of Newark. (Would that color be green? ) That group would be the group that is squarely located at ground zero of the George Floyd incident, and that would be the City of Minneapolis city council. As you are aware, over 500 businesses were destroyed and looted following the George Floyd incident. This damage was horrible and horrendous to such a point that the Minneapolis police abandoned one of their precinct buildings. The destruction and rioting lasted for days. The governor of Minnesota and the Mayor of Minneapolis (aliens to be sure!) did nothing before calling out the National Guard after 4 days of nothingness. So what is the City of Minneapolis city council solution for alleviating these occurrences? Well they want, and did, partially defunded the police! This solution is not only out of this world, but is light years away from any common sense solution. These people have obviously come from a place much further than Alpha Centauri!.

To further explain, the City of Minneapolis had 817 officers before the George Floyd incident. Now they have 638 officers. Many fine, experienced officers retired, left the profession or moved because of the lack of support for the police during the Derek Chauvin trial. Last summer, the city council took several steps toward the defunding, including approving an amendment to remove $1 million from the police department and divert it toward the health department to hire violence interrupters essentially social workers with the mission of de-escalating violent situations. In December, they diverted another $8 million from the police budget to other city services.

These fiscal moves, and the lack of city support for the police after the George Floyd incident has now.shall we say, allowed the chickens to roost. Minneapolis has seen an uptick in crimes that include daylight car jackings, robberies, assaults, shooting and street racing. Early 2021 crime statistics show a 250% increase in gunshot victims compared to the year-ago statistics. Rape is up 22% and robbery is up 59% compared to the previous year. Not too surprising, the 911 response times have increased, but rest assured, those violence interrupters will be faster than a speeding spaceship.

How could responsible Earthlings come up with these out of this world ideas? The City of Minneapolis city council has got to be aliens from another planet, because slashing police department funds is not the solution for reducing crimes. Andreducing the number of jails will not reduce crime, either. The city council combative approach to the police, is only going to get you a lower class of policeman. Who, in their right mind, would want to be a policeman in Minneapolis? Who would want to be a violence interrupter in a domestic dispute, when that is the police call that the police hate and fear the most. I dont know if the violence interrupters have become a reality, but if they have, they will last until the first is shot or beatensomething that could easily occur in many domestic situations.

So dear readers, I have presented my case that we have been visited and infiltrated by aliens from other planets. Additionally, they must possess a form of Vulcan mind meld that forces stupid voters into voting them into power! If that were not the case, why would these stupid, out of this world decisions be made by the likes of AOC, the City of Newark, and the City Council of Minneapolis? But more importantly, how long are we going to tolerate their presence before we send them back to their home planets?

Why do we need a Congress?

I dont know if you know the exact number of executive orders that King Joe 1 has signed, but here it is. So far, since being POTUS, King Joe 1 has signed 34 Executive Orders and 9 Presidential Memoranda. Most of these within the first 15 days in office. King Joe 1 must have a nuclear powered pen, because a solar powered pen would not work after dark, and King Joe doesnt stop signing orders for anything!

Do you remember the rioting that took place at Donald Trumps inauguration? We had unnamed celebrities (Madonna) who claimed that Donald Trump was a white supremist, Nazi, and sociopath. Apparently that was an indication of the liberal plan to bring America together. But I digress.

This blog is written to bring about common sense solutions, and attempt to provide common sense topics for thought and discussion. So.I will get back to my first sentence. With King Joe 1 single handedly expanding the ink business with his nuclear powered pen, why do we need Congress? All we need is for him to change everything and control everything, much the same way Adolf Hitler did in Germany. (What does Madonna think of that?) Think of all the money that could be saved if we canned 535 senators and representatives! Additionally, we would save all the money from canning their overpaid, bloated staffs. The perks? We could balance the budget by eliminating congressional perks! More importantly, the quality of television news reporting would be greatly increased if we could keep all of those publicity craving egotists away from a television camera! We would have more success attempting to break heroin addicts from their habits than we would keeping the publicity hogs from a TV camera. But if we got rid of them, we could make a dent in the deficit created by the last Pelosi relief bill, deceivingly referred to as the COVID Relief bill.

What is with this Covid bill? Two trillion dollars, of which less than 10% is actually going for Covid relief. So where is that money going? Honestly, it is difficult to determine. Why? Because much of the proposed pork is hidden with slicked-up names and agencies. Purportedly, there is $150 billion for an underground tram system in Silicon Valley! Really? For that kind of money, you could just rent chauffer driven limousines for anyone going to and from work. An underground tram system buried in a Covid Relief bill? Are they trying to compete with Disneyland? Will the Pirates of the Caribbean or the Its a Small World Disneyland themes be available to make the tram ride more enjoyable? The sad truth is that this project, being it is California, would probably still be over budget. California has a notorious reputation for not being able to bring anything at or under budget. But, alas, Nancy Pelosi and her team of minions are proposing, in this relief bill, to build that tram in her home state. This will all be done at taxpayer expense, of course.

Do you find it interesting that King Joe 1 has signed an executive order opening our southern border? Think about this: A Canadian can not enter the US, even if they have had the Covid vaccination. Conversely, an American cannot enter Canada. But, King Joe 1, in his infinite wisdom, has decided that all of the poor people from Central and South America can enter the US without any type of medical inspection. And, he has decided to halt the construction of the border wall implemented by President Trump. Apparently, every illegal immigrant is disease free and here with only the most honorable intentions. Thus, they begin their path to US citizenship by illegally entering our country.

Have you noticed what has happened to the price of gasoline since King Joe 1 became POTUS? Stopping construction on the Keystone pipeline did not help. Amazingly, construction was halted for environmental reasons, causing the lay-off of 20,000 high paid jobs either directly or indirectly involved with this project. I have bad news for those tree-huggin environmentalists. There is no more environmentally safe method of transporting petroleum than through a pipeline. I will guarantee that more petroleum is leaked from train cars and semi-trailers in a week, than will leak from a pipeline in a year! But Warren Buffet does not own the pipeline. He owns Burlington Northern Railroad and he wants to transport all of that oil with his trains. Did I mention that the Oracle of Omaha is a major Democrat supporter? Oops! It just slipped out and you know there would be no connection with King Joes decision.

As long as we are talking about oil and the energy it provides, I cant help but discuss those people that believe we should replace all fossil fuels with other sources. I think that idea is great in theory, but it is just thattheory. While you are driving around in your electric powered Tesla, think about this. Where does the electric come from that charges you vehicle? This country has 91 nuclear power reactors that is responsible for 20% of the countries electricity. There are 430 coal fired power plants responsible for 30% of the countries electricity. The biggest amount of US electricity is provided by natural gas electric generators, providing 34%. Wind provides 6% and solar provides 1%. It would take 350 wind turbines to replace one coal fired power plant. Unless there is a nuclear reactor up your butt, we are going to need fossil fuels a little longer.

Here is another discussion point. Why do we still have 5000 National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C? Isnt it ironic that the politicians in Washington want to take down the border wall and take your guns, while at the time of this writing, Washington is being protected by an impenetrable wire fence and a lot of people with guns. Who do they think is going to attack? St. Patricks day is approaching, and those Irishmen can get a little rowdy. But they will only attack the pubs in force. Is this another way of bringing the people together in Washington, D.C? Walls and guns? Are they afraid of another incident, such as occurred on January 6?

And speaking of January 6, I, like many Americans, did not want to see such an event in our nations Capitol. The deaths and injuries that resulted are truly tragic, and I do not support violence of any form. But having said that, the events that took place were pretty weenie-wink compared to some of the other riots that occurred in other American cities. Portland. Minneapolis. Seattle. Kenosha. Whoever initiated the events in Washington needed to take a page from the Antifa handbook. For instancewhere was the fire? No fire. Where was the smashing, grabbing and looting? Nope. None of that. Where were the pre-placed pallets of bricks? None. Tear gas? Molotov cocktails? No and no. AndCongress was allowed to reconvene by 8:00PM that evening! I bet the business owners from the aforementioned cities would have loved being able to return to work 5 hours after the riots began. They only returned to their businesses after the riots were done and their businesses were in shambles. Many will never reopen after losing their livelihoods. But, in another showing of bringing the country together, the Democrats determined that all of this was the responsibility of the out-going POTUS, and he needs to be impeached! And, contrary to constitutional law, we want to impeach him after he leaves office. Oh yeah. That is a way to promote healing.

To say that there was much controversy surrounding the outcome of our last election would be a major understatement. Do you know what I would have done were I King Joe 1? I would have gotten on the television, and said this, Because of the many concerns surrounding mail fraud and computer fraud, I suggest a 30 day moratorium on the election results and direct the FBI and every law enforcement agency to investigate these allegations so that you, the American public, are assured that the democratic election process and my election are secure and accurate. Did you hear anything that sounded like this? Was the FBI tasked to investigate election fraud allegations? Not that I know of. Any other law enforcement agency? Again. Not that I know of. What we got was a wire wall and the National Guard. I find it interesting, and ironic, that the Department of Justice did not investigate any of the 1500 election fraud sworn affidavit allegations, but the FBI came out in force, like they were on steroids, to investigate the outgoing POTUS and the events surrounding the Capitol riot on January 6.

So let me get this straight. Donald Trump lost the election to King Joe 1, even though he had 11 million+ more votes than he had against Hillary Clinton. AndKing Joe 1 got more votes than Barrack Obama ever dreamed of in defeating Trump. Is it now clear for you?

Many of the subjects broached in this blog are indeed bewildering, until you apply my political formula: P + P = M. Power plus prestige equals money. Once you apply that formula to the events of today in politics, the fog begins to clear. Some people will do anything, and I do mean ANYTHING to remain in power. Proof? How do poor politicians become millionaires. The answer? At our expense.

Wake up America, before it is to late.

I am tired! No, I had a good nights sleep. What I am getting tired about is what is happening to our country. When younger, I was sure we lived in a democracy and I was proud to be American. However, I am not sure about our democracy today! Our political system is fraudulent, filled with power and money hungry politicians, and making decisions that may destroy our way of life. We have faced four years of a president that is trying to make good decisions for this country, but he has faced every possible roadblock to his success. Just think what could have been accomplished had our government focused on governing instead of impeachment, destroying a Supreme Court Justice, the Steele Dossier, the pandemic, and too many destructive paths to mention.

Who is not tired of the pandemic? OMG! As of this writing, a day after the beginning of the new year, there are still so many questions surrounding this pandemic. Like you, I have become really tired about conflicting opinions about how and where it began, and how it is spread. It was not uncommon that people of my age have gotten the flu at least once or twice during their lifetime. Granted, we did not have a fancy name for it, such as COVID 19. It was just called the flu. And.it really made you sick. If you were unfortunate to get the flu, as I was at least twice, you stayed at home. The symptoms were: high temperature, coughing, lung congestion and the general all-around feeling that you had a gigantic body ache. The one thing that did not occur, was that the government did not shut down the economy, or send me money for missing work. Before I go any further, and receive death threats for being an idiot, I want to clarify that I do believe that COVID 19 is a real disease that can cause death, if you are high risk and have underlying conditions or are elderly. But guess what? Many of the other flus that we had did the same thing. Occasionally, a healthy person succumbed, as did many elderly.

I am tired of the draconian measures that have been taken, by the government, to stop the spread of the virus. The one fact I do know, is that it has never been proven that restaurants are super spreaders of the disease. Fortunately, Grandma P and I live in a state where the restaurants are allowed to remain open. We try to patronize these restaurants at least twice a week, just to keep them open. Some of these restaurants have suffered hurricane damage as well, so they have suffered a double whammy. During our last visit, we were seated so that there was a reasonable distance from other tables, and, as soon as one table was vacated, a masked server sanitized the table and chairs. Common sense was displayed by the restaurant, and by the patrons.

I am really getting tired of politicians that believe that rules and laws are for the electorate, but they are exempt from the rules. While closing down all the restaurants in California, the governor has a multi-thousand dollar meal, paid for by a lobbyist, at a swanky restaurant! Thankfully, the electorate in California are beginning to wake up, and petitioning for his recall. Unfortunately, Gavin Newsom is not the only politician that sees himself as privileged. His aunt, Nancy Pelosi, had a hair appointment in a supposedly closed beauty parlor. All of this was caught on camera. There are other examples of politician privilege everywhere, while the general population is regulated and punished for the same behavior.

I am tired and concerned about the amount of foreign influence and money that has corrupted our elections. You dont believe that foreign governments are not dumping millions, and billions of dollars into our elections? Just look at the upcoming Georgia election for two US senators. There is an estimated $500 million being spent on that campaign. $500 million! If that much is being spent there, how much do you think was spent on the 2020 election? Where did that money originate? I have a pretty good idea that billions of dollars are coming from Chinawhich segues into my next paragraph.

I am tired of the media reporting stories that are 97% negative about Donald Trump and his presidency. Beyond his crass and brass personality, and his seemingly unending tweets, Trump had bushels of accomplishments for the benefit of our country. I can name at least 10 things that his administration accomplished from memory in his four years. (What has Biden accomplished in his political career? Pelosi? Shumer? I rest my case!) The media glorified the Steele dossier. They supported Trumps impeachment, supposedly because Chuck Shumer had myriads of facts to support his impeachment. Facts that just never seem to appear, but were given more credibility than Moses receiving the ten commandments. The Democrats got nasty and created lies to denigrate and discredit the Trump Supreme Court nominees. The accusation that Brett Cavanaugh was the leader of a teenage gang of rapists, was a clear indication of how low in the manure pile the Democrats will shovel. Have you ever wondered who owns these media outlets?

I am tired of social media, supposedly representing open forums, from censoring what is on their social platforms. Hunter Biden issues were censored, because they claimed there wasnt any proof. Yet, the Steele dossier, and fictitious Shumer accusations against Trump were allowed freely. Unbiased? Not in a million years. And unfortunately, 65% of all Americans get their news from the intranet. This blog is being censored, as the comments on the last three blogs have not been published. A coincidence, since this all began two months before the election?

I am tired (and concerned) that a member of the House Intelligence Committee is still on the committee after having a lengthy affair with a Chinese spy. Nancy Pelosis driver was a Chinese spy. How much of our government have the Chinese permeated? There is one sure thing that Donald Trump did accomplish. Ill explain. The Chinese are a very patient people. They, unlike Americans who require instant satisfaction, play the long-term game. The Western world, led by us consumer-driven Americans, have made China wealthy over the last 50 years. (See the 4/11/2020 blog: Were we in Africa, or Were we in China.) China likes being wealthy. They will use that wealth to rule the world economically, technologically and militarily. They will do all of this without having a cum by yah sing- along at the UN, because they want to rule the world and dont care one bit about globalization. But unexpectedly, along comes a political surprise by the name of Donald J. Trump. What does Trump do? Well, he passed tax credits which made it economically feasible for American companies to bring their manufacturing jobs back to the US. He drastically lowered the unemployment in America. He lowered the number of people on welfare. When American companies did not respond, he threatened to put tax levies on their goods manufactured outside the US. He renegotiated a more favorable trade agreement with China, (He also did the same with Canada and Mexico.) He did what was right for America! But you know what else he did? He pissed off the Chinese. Now they were not getting as rich as before Trump. They also observed that the US was rebuilding their military. The US is now the only major hurdle between China and world domination, which I suspect may occur within the next 20 years, if we let it! So.in the eyes of the patient Chinese, Trump must go! But at what cost? A few million? A few billion? A trillion dollars? Who owns these media sources? Who owns our politicians? Who would benefit the most from the collapse of the US economy? Who would benefit most with Trump being taken out of office? How many of these questions can be answered with one word: China.

I am really tired that many of our elected officials are so entrenched, that there is no opportunity for new faces advocating new ideas. WE NEED TERM LIMITS. Am I the only person in the United States that wants to know how a poor politician becomes a millionaire? Barrack Obama had a net worth of less than $500 thousand when he ran for president. Today, his net worth is estimated at $135 million! His salary for 8 years as POTUS was $3.2 million before taxes! How did he get to $135 million?

I am tired of the fact that our nation is so self-absorbed, that we, as a people, are too ignorant to recognize that we have enemies in the world. We have become the me first individuals, rather than the us together country.

I am tired of the fact that we may lose our democracy, because we allowed an election within our country with bushels of ballots being sent in the mail without verification if qualified voters actually received them. We allowed ballots to be counted that could not be substantiated. We allowed ballots to be counted that were post-marked after the election date. We allowed 38 states to count ballots with the use of a computer program that was developed outside the US; whose original purpose was to create ballot fraud, to sway the outcome of elections in foreign countries. Did we just become one of these foreign countries? Apparently, some people think so as there are over 1500 sworn affidavits attesting to observing voter fraud. For once, I would like our bureaucracy to meddle in the form of the FBI and the DOJ. What did either do? I believe it was Stalin who said, Its not the vote that counts, its who counts the votes.

We, as Americans, have two choices. The first is, how long are we going to tolerate the government at all levels to control our lives. Businesses closed. Schools closed. Churches closed. But you still go to Walmart and Target. I believe that the pandemic has shown bureaucracy gone amok in many areas.

The second decision is for us to recognize the threat that we have to our democracy, and what we need to do about it. We will not have honest and fair elections until some election officials are arrested for being dishonest and unfair. We will not have a fair and honest election until we prohibit, and un-elect those politicians who are taking huge sums of foreign monies to maintain power. That issue would disappear if we had term limits, so that 40 year entrenched politicians would begin to do what is right for America, than what is right for a foreign power or lobbyist or themselves.

It is up to you, America! Im tired. Time for a nap. But please decide what you want. The clock is ticking for us and future generations. The Chinese are patient.

Like most people growing up in the middle of the 20th century, I thought my upbringing was normal. At the time, both Grandma P and I thought that we were what was called middle class. We did not have any more material possessions than anyone else, but we did have everything that was needed to grow and prosper. We each had two loving parents. My farm family always planted a huge garden. That was because my grandmother was raised during the time of the Great Depression, and was damn well bent on the fact that none of us was ever going to starve! When the peas in the garden were ripe, we had peas for two meals a day until they were gone. (Mercifully, we did not have to eat peas for breakfast!) When the lettuce was ripesame thing. We were subjected to this kind of diet for every vegetable that could not be frozen or canned, throughout the entire summer.

We were raised to respect authority and our elders. It did not matter if that authority was a teacher, preacher or policeman. I received the do as the cop tells you speech at an early age. The second part of that speech was that I should not do anything so stupid as to need a policemans involvement. You know those things: speeding, drinking, stealing, yada yada. Some of my most serious discipline, as handed out by my father, Big Daddy G, was because he heard that I had misbehaved in class. (Amazingly, the husbands of 3 of my 6 elementary school teachers worked with my dad! He never attended parent/teacher conferences. He got reports every frickin day!) By todays standards, my actions would draw a smile. By Big Daddy Gs standards, corporal punishment was required! (And received!) Big Daddy G was a strict adherent to black and white. Shady gray was never a part of his color palette. There was no room for compromise as to what was right, and what was wrong, as that line was never allowed to blur.

I recited the Pledge of Allegiance, every day for my entire 12 years of school. We stood at attention, with our hands over our hearts as we were saying it. This is what you did in a small, blue-collar, midwestern community where practically all of your parents and teachers survived the Great Depression and fought in World War II. They were a tough generation to have survived so much. They had no compunction to be soft on the children they brought into this world.

For all of us, the baby boomers, our childhoods were not draconic. We were being parented! Our parents, because of their experiences, imparted their values on us. They also implanted expectations as to what we could become with effort. They never waivered in their love of country or their belief that America was indeed the land of opportunity. For all of us that are from this generation, this was normal. So what has happened?

Defunding the Police

This past summer has seen destruction and carnage in many of our major cities. Minneapolis, because of the death of George Floyd. Seattle and New York saw rioting and looting. Portland will probably be in the Guinness Book of Records for allowing a riot to go unchecked for over 100 days. Anarchists seized a multi-block area of Seattle that was allowed to go unchecked for over a month. During my youth, these actions would have been unthinkable. During my youth, there would have been swift justice dealt to the perpetrators of these incidents before the loss of property and the loss of life. So what are the responses of the mayors of these communities? Well, in Minneapolis, because of the unfortunate death of George Floyd, there has been a movement to defund the police. The George Floyd incident was the excuse given for all of the rioting and destruction that has taken place. So the media has turned the spotlight on the police as being the villains in this surrealistic scenario, followed by the total lack of common sense and action by the mayors and governors of the affected states and cities. I would like to point out that this anti-cop attitude began with our last black President, who stoked the fires of racism by stating, If I had a son, he would be just like Trayvon Martin. There you have it. Black thugs are all good. All cops are bad. Is this the new norm?

Media Bias

There was a time in one of my classes when the teacher had us perform a political debate. This particular debate was about the upcoming election between John Kennedy and Richard Nixon. My family were all FDR democrats, so I was on the Kennedy side of the equation. I slam-dunked the election debate in our favor by quoting and producing an article that had been printed in the largest major newspaper in our state. (It still is!) Because of the validity attached to that article and because of the status of that newspaper, the Kennedy side won! How much of what you read or see in a newspaper would you believe today? How much of any media source do you believe today?

I very much remember when Richard Nixon resigned as POTUS, because of the Watergate scandal. Do you remember that this whole scandal was exposed because of investigative reporters? Yup. Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, both working for the Washington Post, exposed the scandal and brought down a presidency. Ah yes.those were the good old days! So where did these investigative reporters go? Have they not heard of Hunter Biden? The fictitious Steele dossier? The Russian collusion hoax? The politicizing of the FBI and CIA? Benghazi? The Clinton emails? The Clinton Foundation? The Uranium One deal? Holy cow! You cannot shake a stick without hitting on what should be a slam-dunk for getting a bushel of Pulitzer Prizes by exposing liberal maleficence! But sadly, the media is liberal, too. So no real investigative reporting has ever been done on any of these subjects. Is this the new normal?

Social Media Bias

Did you know that 65% of all Americans receive their news on social media? Yup. And considering that in our recent election, the big social media outlets took it upon themselves to block any info concerning Hunter Biden as it relates to his father. They had no problem with the fictitious Steele dossier, or anything that was anti-Trump, but they decided that there was not enough evidence to allow the Hunter Biden story.

So rather than being a conduit for ideas, these large social media outlets have decided to discard the first amendment, and inhibit the free speech provided by our Constitution. Trump has been likened to Hitler, but yet, it is the left, biased media that is exerting dictatorial, discriminate authoritymuch like Hitler! The new norm?

Antifa and BLM

Call me a racist, but I happen to believe that ALL LIVES MATTER! And, yes, that includes black lives as well. If you believe that Black Lives Matter is some sort of civil liberties organization, you had better go on-line and read their website. They are a politically socialistic organization with a huge socialistic agenda. Antifa? Antifa keeps trying to purvey, along with the help of the liberal media, that they are a group fighting fascists in America. Fascists? I am pretty sure we killed most of the Fascist bastards with the deaths of Hitler and Mussolini. I am pretty sure that these fascists are fictitious, much like the Steele dossier, in order to justify their illegal actions. And like BLM, they are attempting to put lipstick on this pig, to make it appear as a civil liberties organization. Like BLM, they are not a civil liberties organization. Check them out. So here you have it. Two organizations largely responsible for the destruction of property, businesses and the livelihoods of thousands of Americans trying to pass themselves off as civil liberties organizations. The new normal?

There are a plethora of items that could constitute being the new normal from when I was growing up in our great nation. Can we not count our election ballots in one night? In 1960, all ballots were manually counted, and we knew who the POTUS was before we went to sleep. Do we attempt to change our history by destroying buildings and statues that represent our past? Is shaking down foreign countries by our politicians and their family members the new normal? Do we think our country is so terrible, that we have to take a knee during the national anthem to show our displeasure? Is this the new normal?

I will tell you that as a senior citizen, I am not pleased as to what kind of country we are leaving our children and grandchildren. Even though we did not grow up having the technological marvels that we take for granted today, we had opportunity and a burning desire to improve ourselves. Call me naïve, but I believe I grew up in a better America.

P.S. Ode to Beau

My friend, Beau, recently passed away. Beau was the father of the Bijou Mauler, who was my proof reader for the beginning of my blog. Beau always read and commented on each of my blogs. He also forwarded my blogs to his many friends. I jokingly referred to him as my best disciple. He was, without question, my most fervent reader. You are sadly missed, because you were a fantastic person, husband, father, and grandfather. Rest in peace, Beau!!
