However, our curbside services have been extended for community convenience.CURBSIDE VALET SERVICE:Bicknell:Monday Thursday: 11am to 7pmFriday: 11am to 4pmSaturday: 11am to 2pmFor checkout of Books, Movies, Audio Materials, and Copy/ Faxing Services.Sandborn:Wednesday: 1pm to 4pmFriday: 1pm to 3pmFor checkout of Books, Movies, and Audio Materials only.Call ahead to request desired materials and call upon arrival at Library so items can be brought to your vehicle. Library Staff will bring requested items in a sack while wearing a facemask and gloves and continue to practice social distancing for your safety and theirs during the ongoing pandemic.Due to COVID-19, the Bicknell and Sandborn Library will be keeping the doors closed for a period of time, however the Library will continue to offer non-contact limited services! Starting on 5/13/20 the Bicknell Library will be offering Curbside delivery for books, audio materials, DVDs, etc. A Curbside copy/print/fax service will also be available. If you wish to place a book order for curbside delivery or need copies/prints/faxes, simply reach out by calling the Bicknell Library at 1-812-735-2317 between the hours of 10am to 8pm, visiting the Bicknell Library Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/BVTPL/  and sending a message with your request, or sending an email to Bicknell.Library@gmail.com.Please be sure to visit the Bicknell Branch Page and the Sandborn Page for Hours, Directions, and upcoming events for each branch. We ve made big changes in order to serve you better.The Bicknell-Vigo Township Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting for the month of May will be held via Zoom on 05/14/2020 at 5:00 p.m.  You can call the library for a Zoom code to join.Bicknell Branch Patrons Take Note:In an attempt to make some of your favorite genres (kinds) of books more easily accessible and also to allow additional room for new books, we are creating separate areas for Christian Fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy in the Adult section of the library. We already have General Fiction paperbacks, General Fiction, Western paperbacks, Western Fiction, Mystery, Autobiographies, Biographies, Audiotapes, VHS, DVD’s, Reference, Large Print Mystery and Large Print Fiction in separate designated areas. There will also always be displays of our newest purchased, as well as our newest donated gently used books. When we have this project completed, we will begin on better organizing our young adult area.As our library book and DVD collection has grown we have purchased new red oak bookcases to compliment those already in place.Any time!! Any day!! – Miss Debbie, unless she has an away meeting or Outreach program will be available to read to, or share a finger puppet, music program, or craft with your child, upon your request.Miss Debbie also has some seasonal coloring sheets for the children to color and put on her office door each month.
