These boards from Hobo are so thematic and intuitive. They made my game so much nicer to play. I would happily pay much more for something of this quality.

I've got the core set tokens. These just had to join the collection. Just as essential as the core set.

I snagged the tokens, the boards, and the block and action indicators for my KD:M set. The quality of Olli's pieces matches the core box, and their utility is great - we're much better about tracking survival actions and such now.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for future KD:M products.

This is an easy way to NEATLY keep track of every thing that happens in the settlement. I found that before I used this sheet I frequently forgot things or had to write multiple things (unrelated) in the same area which was very confusing.

These tokens come in handy when playing solo or with group play. The quality is top notch and they have really elevated the gaming experience.

Like their core game counterparts, these tokens are of impressively good quality. Super thick, with an incredibly thematic color pattern, they are of the very same dimension, texture, color and thickness as the core game survival reminder tokens, and thus can be integrated to the set without hurting anyone's OCD.

More than with the core game survival reminder tokens, the only improvement that I could see here is reminder text of what the action does.

Other than that, these tokens will make enjoying KD:M that much easier for you, especially if you're a solo player, as the game tends to overwhelm pretty quickly.

So to sum it up (see core tokens for reference):
- Superb quality.

These tokens, which are the same extremely high level of quality as the activation/hidden tokens, are here to remind you of your block 1 and 2 (one on each side).

I would love to say more but since I tend to die before I get the chance to use them (that's what happen when you don't have handy tokens to remind you of stuff) I haven't had the opportunity to use anything better than a Leather Shield yet :'( But when I did, I was glad to have a visual aid to remind me that nope, the Butcher wouldn't have free reign over me!

Aesthetically pleasing, the block tokens go straight to the point: they tell you how much you block, whether it's 1, or 2. And that's all you need from them, really. Black, white, and red, they look good sitting on your survivor mat or sheet, and can quite literally save your bacon!

And then hide yourself in the tall grass before you pluck a fruit from a nightmare tree.
And in case you somehow forgot you did, these handy tokens are here to remind you.

They sit really nicely on your board near your survivor to remind you that it was him, yes him! that you spent an action hiding, and not his neighbor, when it comes time to resolve that Claw card.
It will also remind you that 8 rounds ago, that fair lady picked a fruit from the tree, and best you don't forget.

The tokens are small like I said, but the color is vibrant enough that you notice them on the board, close to the numbered card from the core game so that if you use them to identify your survivors you'll know at a glance we did what - yet dark enough to really fit in the color scheme for the KD:M board. They're thick and sturdy, with one side depicting activation and the other reminding you that you're hidden.

As showdowns tend to become longer and more complicated, these activation/hidden tokens are the perfect companions for not just the forgetful solo players, but just any group. Bonus points for those chatty, beer-drinking ones whom with a showdown can last two hours.

Side-note: if you didn't paint your base and, like me, have difficulty telling your starting females apart, these tokens can identify them at a glance too. They can serve as knocked-down reminders too if you don't like putting your mini on its side :)

Have you ever lost track of which survivor has spent a survival action, and which one they used? It may not seem like much to keep track of in early lantern years, but as soon as LY5 you might be in quite a pickle if you're playing solo.

That's when these wonderfully thematic tokens come into play. Not only will they help you remember which survival actions you've unlocked so far, they'll also sit nicely on your survivor mat, and will help you remember who's surged and who's encouraged: simply flip them over and poof, the action's not available anymore!

I love my Nemesis version as the dark mood fits the theme so well. The tokens are super thick, on par if not above core game quality, and come nicely packed in their ziplock bag, with a thin cardboard sheet keeping them in place and a additional, nice little token telling you whether you'll live or die. I like the iconography used (action, movement, skull...) and they're highly durable.

In game it doesn't take long to flip them when soloing, and it saves you the hassle of having to write or erase what you've used or not - similar to playing with dice for insanity and survival values, for instance), while at the same time preventing you from goofing up your showdown by dashing all over the place twice per round :)

Absolutely recommended, Poots should consider including them in the game for v.1.6. The only improvement I could think of, would be writing on the token, under the name, what the survival action does.

I purchased this set with the GenCon promo earlier this year so also have one of the colored token set in addition to the nemesis set.

Both are great, convenient even when I solo game, fit the aesthetic of the game perfect and sometimes I have to remind myself they weren’t done by KDM themselves.

I do prefer the black edging and the nemesis tokens to the colored ones, but both look great and that’s just my own personal preference.

Have heard some people complain about pricing but I really think they’re worth it personally. It’s a boutique game and these are boutique tokens. Anyway, given what the average KDM fan such as myself spends on minis every time there’s a sale in the store, I really didn’t regret it for a moment after getting my hands on them!!

Got those for my gaming group. Using them ever since. Would hate to miss them. Looking forward to Sunstalker & Co additions.

This set for nemesis is great when beefing up your fight against the bosses! I would highly recommend getting this!
