WHERE SHOULD WE EAT?

We’d suggest Giusto.

A collection of regional Italian dishes with a New England twist, the food at Giusto is complemented by its craft cocktails, local beers, and predominantly Italian wine selection.

WHERE DO I PARK?

On site. How simple is that?

Valet parking is $25 per day from November 1st to April 30th and $45 per day from May 1st to October 31st. With unlimited in/out privileges is available on our property—it’s a real perk.

IS THERE A FITNESS CENTER?

Yes, and it’s overlooking America’s Cup Avenue.

Yes, it has great views and all the equipment you need to get in a workout while you’re away. It has cardio equipment, free weights, and a BODYCRAFT all-in-one machine.

HOW’S THE SHOPPING?

With shops connected to the hotel, we’d say pretty good.

Hammetts is conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and shopping. On the wharf there are three retailers: Johnnie-O, Holebrook, and Saltzman’s Watches.

TRAVEL + LEISURE

“Featured as one of the best new hotels to book in 2021, this boutique hotel will have 84 guest rooms with private decks overlooking the water, a fitness center, and a gathering space for groups. Part of a major project, the arena will include a waterfront restaurant and retail spaces as well as the hotel.”

FORBES

“Guest rooms are modest in size with industrial-design touches but offer great views of the water and boating life. In fact, one of the highlights of the property is the 9,000-square-foot deck overlooking Newport Marina. In this age of social distancing, having so much space to gather safely and take in the surrounding views is truly unique and welcome.”

Boston Globe

“Providence-based Union Studio designed the property with a sleek, nautical modern motif. Hammetts has four suites (approximately 550 square feet each), two meeting rooms, and an art gallery with rotating exhibits. Local artists and photographers were enlisted to tell the story of Newport in unique ways through their works, which decorate the entire hotel.”
