Natural Language Processing (NLP)is the subfield of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concerned with the interactionbetween computers and human languages (e.g.: Greek, English). We provide the capability to the end user to express the inquiry via Greek language. Indicative characteristics of our NLP capabilities include:

Spelling
By providing the opportunity to the end user to write in Greek,we understand that Spelling is a crucial success factor. AtSmartRep, we developed an algorithm to identify spellingmistakes, by teaching our ChatBot what a spelling mistake is.For example, we taught our ChatBot that Transpose is thephenomenon that takes place when two letters in a word switchpositions, so as if a user writes “ λγοαριασμός ”, our ChatBot willunderstand “ λογαριασμός

Semantics
The purpose of Semantics is to draw exact meaning of a word.Consider a user typing “ Λογαριασμός ”. It is of outmostimportance for the ChatBot to understand the context of theword. As such, it is only logical to assume that the user eitherwants a new account, or to have access to his account. As such,the ChatBot will reply with a question to better understand thecontext of the question (e.g.: Ενδιαφέρεστε για άνοιγμαλογαριασμού ή θέλετε να συνδεθείτε για να δείτε τονλογαριασμός σας;)
