IMPORTANT – DOG FEES FOR 2020

Due to COVID-19 the $5 Late Fee will be charged starting May 1, 2020 instead of April 1st

DOG LICENSING INFORMATION ------FEE SCHEDULE

        Spayed & Neutered                                         $10.00

          Unaltered Dogs:                                              $15.00

           Late fee (after April 1):                                  $ 5.00

            Replacement Tag                                                 .50

State Statute dictates that ALL DOGS 5 MONTHS AND OLDER BE LICENSED BY APRIL 1ST OF EACH YEAR.  A CERTIFICATE OF RABIES must be presented at time of licensing. Three Ways To License Your Dog:  1) Stop by the Clerk’s Office between the hours of 8:00 am & 4:30 pm. 2) Mail a check, the rabies vaccination certificate if new info., along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Town of Norway, 6419 Heg Park Rd, Wind Lake, WI  53185.  3) Use the Drop Box located in front of the Town Hall. Place check, rabies vaccination certificate if new info and stamped, self-addressed envelope into the box and a tag will be sent back to you. Per local ordinance, failure to license may result in a fine up to $250.00.  PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO LICENSE YOUR DOG.

Changein Procedure for Special ‘One Day Parking Permit’ Request On Town Roads. 

 

Pleasenote:  There has been a change in theprocedure for requesting ‘One Day Parking Permits’ on Town roads.   If you will be having a large event and you liveon a town road with designated ‘No Parking’ signs, you can request parkingpermits by following the appropriate procedure below.

Youmust appear, in person, at a meeting of the Town Board to request ‘One DayParking Permits’. Board meetings are the2<sup>nd Monday of each month and begin at 6:30 p.m.  Please provide information to the Clerk’sOffice by the 1st Wednesday of the month you are holding your event.This includes name, address, contact information, date and time of event andapproximately how many permits being requested.</sup>

 Emailthe information to info@townofnorway.org with One DayParking Permit Request in the Subject line. An agenda will be emailed to youwhen it is ready. Please call the Clerk’s Office with any questions you mayhave at 262-895-6335.

 

Important: If you live on a County roadwhich includes Hwy G (7 Mile Rd), Hwy K (Apple Rd), Hwy S (E. Wind Lake Rd), or Hwy Y( RacineAve),  you must contact Racine County at262-886-8440.
