Our main focus recently has been the creation and launching of the Trestle Trail project on the berm in Blackie's Pasture. A lovely little park at the entrance is close to completion. Visit often! This was accomplished through the joint efforts of the Town of Tiburon and Tiburon Peninsula Foundation along with many community donors, who are acknowledged by name in the park and all along the Trail. TPF Shows Up! Town of Tiburon Holiday Festival (Chamber of Commerce); McKegney Green Restoration Project (Town of Tiburon); Audubon Interpretative Signs along Richardson Bay (Audubon); Belvedere Lanes Project (City of Belvedere); Yellow Bus Challenge (Reed Union School District; Sponsoring a monthly Tea at the Library (Library Foundation); Tot Town at Blackie's Hay Day (Bookmarks); Reed Family Run (Reed School Foundation); All-In, a new group supporting special families in our community with summer camp scholarships, bikes, shoes, back to school supplies; Eagle Scout Projects; Redwood High School Grad Nite (Redwood); Friday Night Teen Hangout (RANCH); Blackies Pasture Clean up (Green Team), and many more to come.
