COVID-19 Update - We are open daily 9AM to 5PM for curbside service. We have implemented procedures for the safety of our customers and staff. For now our front door is closed for safe distancing and incoming and outgoing bicycles will be disinfected. We recommend customers call (508-487-4849) or email before visiting to let us know your needs. Provincetown bicycle rentals are our specialty and our location is the best in town. Located closest to the beaches and the paved bike trails at the Cape Cod National Seashore we have direct access starting at our store. Authorized dealers of Cannondale, Schwinn and GT bicycles we are open 7 days a week offering rentals, sales, service and repairs of bicycles and accessories. Our rental fleet includes electric bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes, comfort bikes, beach cruisers, road bikes and fat tire sand cruisers. Rental bicycles are available in a variety of sizes for adults and children. For toddlers we have trailers and tag-along bikes. We stock many tubes, tires, wheels and other bicycle parts and accessories. We always have a supply of new and used bicycles for sale at reasonable prices. Gale Force Bikes is located in the West End at 144 Bradford Street Extension (corner of West Vine St.) a short walk from the center of town and close to Herring Cove Beach and the bicycle trails at the Cape Cod National Seashore. The Bradford Street Extension spur of the bicycle trail starts right at our doorstep. Our bicycle rentals include a lock, helmet and free parking (parking for hourly rentals only). The Beach Market and Deli is located on the premises and offers fresh sandwiches, snacks and beverages as well as convenience items and beach accessories. We open the first weekend in April and close the last weekend in October. Once we open for the season, we are open every day of the week*. While we are closed November through March, we accept bicycle rental reservations starting in January. To place a reservation when we are closed, please use our online reservation request form, or call 508-487-4849 and leave a voice message with your contact information and we will call you. NOTE: SEE REVISED HOURS AT TOP OF THIS PAGE DUE TO COVID-19. January through March: Closed but accepting reservations for the upcoming season April: 10AM to 4PM every day* (some weekends open until 5PM) May: 10AM to 5PM every day (ext'd. hrs., 8AM until 7PM during Memorial Day weekend) June: 9AM to 6PM every day (extended hours, 8AM until 7PM start the last week of June) July: 8AM to 7PM every day August: 8AM to 7PM every day September: 9AM to 6PM every day (reduced hours, 9AM to 5PM start last week of Sept) October: 9AM to 5PM every day* (reduced hours, 10AM until 4PM start mid-October) November through December: Closed *We are open 7 days a week April through October, however hours of operation may vary due to inclement weather.During the months of April and October we may not open on days of inclement weather.
