We can do a thorough assessment over the phone/video and from there if arrangements need to be made for an in-person visit, your physician will guide you through this.VACCINE and ROUTINE VISITSMany of your children are due for vaccines and routine visits. It is unpredictable how long this pandemic will last, and we do not want to delay vaccinations as we want to continue to prevent vaccine-preventable illnesses. Rest assured, there are very few patients coming through Citrus, and all are healthy.Your child s visit will initially be a phone/video visit to review your child s health and development. An in person visit will be scheduled for vaccinations after the virtual visit is completed.WE ARE AVAILABLE TO ANY PATIENT IN ONTARIOOur primary care and specialist physicians are still providing consults virtually.We know that many doctor’s offices have closed, and few are offering virtual care to their patients.We want to minimize unnecessary emergency room use and want to avoid delayed access to care. Therefore, our family physicians and specialists will gladly see ANY patient in Ontario through phone-call and virtual calls, to ensure all Ontario residents have access to a physician.If you have friends or family members who do not have access to their physician right now, and they have a question or concern, please have them call (416-800-6500) or request an appointment online (citrusmedical.ca/appt) and we will arrange a virtual visit.WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!This is a difficult time for everyone.
