Welcome to Kickbox Foundation​

Kickbox is a methodology in corporate innovation to activate employees and create valuable business cases for the company. ​

​

The methodology was invented by Adobe, further shaped by Swisscom, and adapted and implemented by thousands of companies. ​

​

The Kickbox Foundation provides a space to get Kickbox open-source material from Adobe and Swisscom and exchange thoughts with other Kickbox practitioners.

The Kickbox method?

​Kickbox is the world’s most popular enterprise innovation framework, used at thousands of organizations from multi-nationals (3M, Cisco, Caterpillar, MasterCard, Swisscom, PG) to educational institutions (ETH, UNSW, USC), government agencies (DARPA, United Nations) and non-profits (Peace Corp, Gates Foundation, Kickstart-Innovation).​

It was originally created for internal use at Adobe by Chief Strategist and VP of Creativity Mark Randall and then open-sourced in 2015. Swisscom, the Swiss leading IT- and Telco- company, shaped it further, wrote the powerful KICKBOOK, and supports other companies in implementing the program.​

​

The methodology enables every employee to take an active role in the company's innovation process: submitting and validating their own ideas. No gates are set in the beginning of the process and every idea giver has the chance to prove the idea as valuable to the company. This process is supported by a toolbox. What is the Kickbox Foundation?​​

'Open source' always played an important role in the world of Kickbox. Adobe and Swisscom open-sourced valuable parts of their Kickbox programs.​

​

The reason why both organizations gave some material into the Kickbox foundation is that everyone should be able to validate own ideas. Everyone should be enabled to test their business ideas – independent if you are a student, a consultant, a manager or an innovation guru. Furthermore, every business manager can get hold of the material and assess it, use it for its own company's innovation program or get in touch with the people behind the material. ​
