is a proud family run business that was founded by Tony van der Meché over 23 years ago and its heritage and craft has been passed through the generations with his daughter and son in law now passionately producing the Orangewood Croquet Sets of Australia.Tony was introduced to croquet on his family’s lawn at 'Orangewood'. It was such a hit with everyone that he decided a set of his own became an absolute necessity. Tony soon found that Australian made sets were unavailable, and quality imports were hard to find. Since 1992 the family have been making a range of quality handcrafted Australian Croquet Sets and have a variety of them available from Traditional Sets, Competition/Club Sets, Garden Sets as well as Family Sets. All our mallets are produced from naturally cured Australian hardwoods and turned by Vic Woof pictured, here with Tony’s grandsons Oliver Alexander.
