Sandra G. Adams, MD, MS is a Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary / Critical Care Division of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA).

Dr. Jane Appleby serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining the executive leadership team of Methodist Hospital, Dr. Appleby served as Chief Quality Officer for the Methodist Healthcare System.

Secretary & Treasurer

Elizabeth A. Schutz has over 30 years of experience in the Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine Division managing and directing all facets and phases of financial and administrative management.

Your tax-deductible donations will help us continue to develop and update content for the WipeDiseases.org site.  Medical protocols, information and medications are forever changing. What might be considered up-to-date and standard-of-care today could be outdated and obsolete by tomorrow.

To date, our website and updates have been made possible by the grants obtained by Dr. Adams, as well as by her own personal commitment to excellence in education, which is evident not only by the number of hours she has donated, but also by the significant investment of her own funds in order to honor her promise of keeping our site current with changes and advances in the evaluation and management of various diseases such as COPD and asthma.
