Türkay Ufuk EREN

Ufuk Eren as the founding partner and CEO of Volitan Global also has leading roles as Healthcare and Life Sciences Sectors Leader for Turkey and Healthcare Sector Senior Consultant for Central, East and Southeast Europe, Russia&CAS Regions at EY (Ernst&Young) since July 2014. Eren is also Senior Advisor in Healthcare and Life Sciences Sectors for the company Vodafone since October 2017.

From April 2014 to May 2017, he was also Senior Advisor to RASIT (Royal Academy of Science International Trust). Eren has been as a partner and CEO of the UK-based UN Innovation Development (UNID) company, which was active in the areas of innovation and development. Ufuk Eren led an active role in “Women’s Health and Development Forum” organization; under the sponsorship of the United Nations, with UNID and RASIT in February 2015 at UN HQ at NewYork, USA.

Eren also has been in senior positions in Healthcare and Life Sciences industries throughout his career. Prior from his long Siemens years, he had managing roles as at International Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey and Canton Hospital St. Gallen (KSSG) in Switzerland. Throughout his 20 years Siemens career, he held roles as CEO of Clinical Products Division for the regions Central and Eastern Europe and Russia&CAS and also Managing Director of Siemens Healthcare Turkey. Before he founded Volitan he was the member of Executive Board of Acıbadem Healthcare Group-IHH.

Eren is partner and member of executive board in various Healthcare and Life Sciences companies. He is also member and member of board in different NGOs and Think Tanks. Ufuk Eren is an Angel Investor.

Irem Eren has been a part of the Volitan Global team since 2018. She completed her high school education in Deutsche Schule Istanbul and is fluent in both English and German. After finalizing her degree as a Medical Engineer, Irem become responsible of business development department along with 10xHealth Investment Club.

Moris Reyna

He is an Israeli and Turkish businessman, has been and is operating in and between two countries, at the sectors ranging from project development and management, to international trading, real estate investment & development and promoting JVs in various areas between Israeli, Turkish and third country companies in and out of Turkey.

He is the founder (1993) and first Chairman of the “Israel-Turkey Business Council and Chamber of Commerce” (ITBC). Since its inception up to date, he is active in every level with further developing the bi-lateral trade and economic cooperation and currently is the “Honorary Chairman” of (ITBC). Elif Çelik

Elif Celik has a business administration bachelor degree from Middle East Technical University. Afterwards, she pursued a joint master degree on research and innovation in higher education that she found a chance to experience innovation and higher education systems of Austria, Finland, China and Germany on site. Her master’s thesis is on Institutional Level Practices for Successful University Technology Transfer which takes German universities as case study.

Upon graduation, she worked at Quality Development Department of Open and Distance Education Faculty, Istanbul University, and involved in the EFQM project. Meanwhile, she was marketing and strategy leader of an early stage start-up for a year. Currently, she is working as a business development specialist in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (İTU GİNOVA) and a PhD candidate in the department of management at Istanbul Technical University.

She focuses on techno entrepreneurship ecosystems as well as the stages of start-ups from early stage to growth and internationalization.

Anıl Kaya

After graduating from Galatasaray High School and Bogazici University as an engineer, Anil received his MS in Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Starting his career in Advanced Analytics Department of Coca-Cola, Anil transitioned to San Francisco and led digital transformation projects of international conglomerates and financial institutions as a Consultant, advising in areas such as Fintech, IoT, Industry 4.0, Analytics, Cloud Technologies and Startup Ecosystems. Being an angel investor, Anil has also been assisting Corporate VC arm of Zorlu Group in San Francisco since its foundation, contributing to deal sourcing, startup relations, due diligence and corporate development. Anil is now the founder and CEO of Datafruit, Data-Science-as-a-Service startup in San Francisco; while advising many overseas technology companies, startups and investors in Silicon Valley.

Danijela Matovic

Danijela more than 10 years of experience in financial advisory services with strong credentials in M&A transactions, capital optimization, business and intangible assets valuation as well as in the area of innovations and technology transfer. She participated in some of the most complex technology transfer, M&A as well as restructuring transactions in Serbia and was engaged as an independent expert on EU Project EVLIA, aimed to develop unified methodology for financial and economic valuation of intangible assets of SMEs.

Prior to starting her own advisory company Parlok Consulting, where she is currently acting as Managing Partner, Danijela spent 4.5 years at EY Serbia acting most recently as the M&A team leader as well as 7 years at Economics Institute in Belgrade holding most recently position of Consulting Director.

Danijela is Partner at African Business Club in Serbia as well as an active member of Serbian Association of Managers. She has actively participated in numerous conferences and round tables in Serbia and abroad and is co-author of several scientific papers in the area of valuation and commercialization of intellectual property.

Danijela has graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University in Belgrade as one of the best students in class, where she also got her master degree. She passed CFA 1.

Şevval Yıldız is an innovative and multi-tasking junior Medical Engineering student at Acıbadem University. She conducts projects in the fields of Neuroscience, Nano Drug Delivery Systems, and Microfluidic Chip Production at Acıbadem University and TÜBİTAK. Her fundamental goal is to combine these disciplines and transfer the skills and experiences she will gain in the clinical field to business life. With this motivation, she is currently working as an intern at Volitan Global.

Layla Vatandost

Layla Vatandost, a Turkish student living abroad and getting a degree in Germany, is fluent in German and English. She graduated High School from Deutsche Schule Istanbul and, after a semester in UCL, has transferred to RWTH Aachen, where she is currently majoring in Industrial and Electrical Engineering. After gaining experience through internships in the fields of Medicine and Pharmaceuticals, she is now an intern at Volitan Global.

Robin Jowitt leads EY’s Corporate Finance team in Central and South East Europe. He has twenty years experience in transactions and has completed in excess of $10 billion in a number of global cross border transactions. Robin has won numerous awards including Telecom Finance leverage deal of the year award and Mid market deal of the year award. Robin has advised on numerous privatization cross-border, carve-out and restructuring transactions. With his more than 20 years of exprience Robin supports Volitan in venture and advisory services.
