Quality Life Assistant is an integrated family of web-based applications that support the entire process of Agency information management.

Leveraging connectivity, interactivity and speed, Quality Life Assistant is the first of its kind, offering efficiency, accuracy, time savings, and positive environmental impact in the area of individual information management for Community Based Organizations that provide services for people with disabilities.

Quality Life Assistant utilizes leading edge technology to assist each Agency (CBO) or any service provider to optimize information management through easy and efficient data collection, analysis, and measurement of service delivery outcomes.

This is achieved through reengineering, digitization and automation of paper-based processes.

Quality Life Assistant connects all levels of service delivery including front line support, management, core support team and the funding agent.

At the operational level staff members have fast access to participants’ plans and workflows. Front line care givers will plan quality of life activities, report incidents, manage medical appointments, monitor medication administration, monitor personal care activities, record and track seizure activity and behavioural incidents. Every direct care workflow will be executed according to the participant’s personalized schedule. After planned activities are carried out, they are reported in real-time directly in the dashboard available to each staff member.

At the tactical level staff members can easily develop and personalize participants’ plans and propagate them to front line support. All activities done by direct care staff members can be monitored by supervisors and improved by sending related directives and comments. The quality and accountability of responses to incidents can be effectively managed and improved because all related data is recorded, reported and available to each team member.

Each staff position is able to respond to the entries of their subordinates and discuss each incident requiring a supervisor’s attention while generating an instant trail of documentation and follow-up. These practices lead to more opportunities to learn from incidents and the improvement of the participant’s, quality of life.

At the strategic level management staff will analyze and visualise key Agency process indicators allowing for more informed decision making. In addition, Executive Directors have easy access to all Agency related data, reporting, and internal communication facilities allowing for the best use of Agency resources. Quality Life Assistant also supports inter-organizational communication. From the data generated by front line staff and the supervisors, the manager can then generate reports required for statistical accountability and provide outcome measurements for stakeholders.
