“An amazing tour covering thousands of years of history in one pleasant day.” Fáilte is Irish for Welcome and is something that Michael exudes. From the friendly handshake to start the day until the he waved goodbye at the end you feel welcome to be in Ireland and on the tour.

We started my heading to the Boyne’s neolithic headliners: Knouth and Newgrange. On our drive up from Dublin we talked and Michael rearranged the itinerary on the fly to accommodate our wish to see the sea coast.

All through the day Michael was a source of interesting conversation on an amazing variety of topics and he made the tour fun and informative.

By the end of the day we had seen the Neolithic sites, Drogheda, Trim Castle, the Hill of Tara, and the Bective Abbey. It was a full day.

I would recommend Boyne Valley Tours to anyone visiting Ireland to get a grounding in Irelands rich history.

Professional, expert tour. Hi - We travelled To Dublin from the US and and on short notice Michael arranged a delightful custom tour to the Hill of Tara, Knowth, and Newgrange. He is a professional tour guide and delivers what should be expected and more. It was especially delightful that he resides in the Valley area we visited, and knows every hill and mound to be spoken of, as well as the history and customs of the area, and local personalities and friends. We were conveniently picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Dublin, and toured in a super clean luxury vehicle. Highly recommended!

Amazing day with Michael Michael was amazing. Gave us an in-depth history of the sights that we had requested seeing. Many stop along the ways at places that no tourist would know existed. He is lovely and even took us for tea at his home with is amazing wife who is a very talented artist. Such a lovely treat to be entertained in the home of someone.
