How We Design for Social Innovation

In our modern world, “design is a category beyond categories” (Peter Lunenfeld) and is positioned by anthropologist Arturo Escobar as a “space for linking theory, practice, and purpose, connecting vision and reality” (Designs for the Pluriverse).

This is how we approach our work; we use design thinking and an equity-centered framework as a mindset to inform how we approach and address problems. We use facilitation to ensure we’re centering the voices of those most impacted by the challenges we’re addressing.

We believe this approach can address any challenge. From the boardroom to the classroom to the courtroom, we have used this approach to get to the heart of issues affecting people.
