About Us

The Jersey City Employment and Training Program (JCETP), is a non-profit agency that has been servicing Jersey City residents for the last 28 years. Its motto has been “Helping Our Community to Work.” JCETP continues its mission, to connect people, businesses, and reputable hard skill training partners while advancing self-sufficiency. We accomplish our mission by being financially sound, performance driven, value-based, well-versed, and dedicated to organizational development and quality stakeholder relationships. Our staff consists of skilled and diverse team members with a focus on coaching and developing people, who are experts in the field that work together with various social service agencies to assist customers in securing employment. It has also been involved with servicing over 25,000 youth in Jersey City for over two decades to obtain and sustain a high quality of life over changing economic conditions. JCETP is a proud partner of the American Job Center network.
