Enjoy the captivating beauty of this 120-acre treasure, one of the largest centers for botanical exploration and discovery in the United States. Located in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District, just minutes from downtown, we offer stunning garden views, exciting exhibits, gift shops, a cafe and more. Spend the day strolling through the Japanese Garden with its koi-filled pools, sculpted hillsides, crafted stonework and dramatic waterfalls. Nearby, visit the iconic Rose Garden, with a terraced ramp featuring paths that wind past colorful flower beds amidst a cascade down the center.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden Hours
Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The last general admission is sold at 2 p.m. pm to allow adequate time in the Garden. Members receive early admission at 7 a.m.
Stickwork, a structure by acclaimed artist Patrick Dougherty, is on the grounds as one of his site-specific artworks unique to Fort Worth. Dougherty bends, weaves, and twines twigs and saplings into massive shelters, towers and sculptures, each as unique as the site where it is built. Visit the stunning exhibit today!

Due to a main water line issue, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden | Botanical Research Institute of Texas will be closed today, June 6. Operations will continue as scheduled in the BRIT building.
With crews currently on site working on repairs, the Garden is expected to be open tomorrow, July 7, 2022.
