The Exposés is Capital & Main’s annual celebration of excellence in social impact journalism, media and publishing. Each year Capital & Main honors outstanding journalists, filmmakers and authors whose work contributes to the betterment of society. Past honorees include Marketplace Radio’s Wealth and Poverty Desk, Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney and acclaimed journalists and authors Mark Arax, Erin Aubry Kaplan, Harold Meyerson, Rick Wartzman, Héctor Tobar and Bernice Yeung. The event, a fundraiser for Capital & Main, is held in Los Angeles and attracts media professionals, philanthropists, entertainment industry executives and civic, labor and business leaders. All contributions to Capital & Main are tax deductible. Proceeds from the Exposés go to support the publication’s investigative reporting.
