Services may be in the form of personal, inter-personal, employment, benefits maximization or just a friendly and caring chat.Dinner ProgramLHW/WSR serves a complete and nutritious dinner Monday-Thursday, at no charge to our residents. Residents are welcomed and encouraged to assist the chef in menu planning.Workshops and ActivitiesA book club, stress and anxiety strategies, arts and crafts, computer use and resumé writing are just a few of the many workshops and activities offered at LHW/WSR. Once a women’s only facility, we now offer affordable, supportive, and accessible housing to all. Conveniently located on Rte 1A North, we are on the bus line and within walking distance to the commuter rail, shopping, and health care. We are close to the beach, the downtown arts cultural district and North Shore Community College.Mission StatementThe new Washington Square Residence serves single persons who seek affordable housing and the security of a furnished, managed home . The diverse population of residents includes working individuals, many of whom are attending school, as well as those who desire a safe and supportive environment.
