Sedona Creative Life Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded to celebrate the human spirit and provide an uplifting and nourishing environment for celebrations, spiritually enhancing programs, and personal growth. Our mission is to become a primary source of programs for spiritual growth, and for programs that encourage healing and harmony of the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical bodies. Many people who are on a spiritual path travel to Sedona as part of their quest for a higher level of consciousness and understanding. As a venue, the Sedona Creative Life Center is a wonderful facility for hosting an event. The staff continually works with speakers, teachers, authors, musicians, and artists to help make their programs and knowledge available to the public. They will help set up an event and can provide access to advertising, catering, and complete audiovisual production services. SCLC staff are available to answer emails and calls at: During the current global health event, the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act offers provisions to increase the tax-deductibility of donations to charities for individuals and corporations. The following temporary provisions apply only to donations made to public charities in 2020. CARES ACT NEW ABOVE-THE-LINE DEDUCTION. The CARES Act adds a new above-the-line deduction that allows ALL individuals a $300 deduction for cash contributions to a qualified charity.A married couple filing jointly may take a $600 deduction. This is only for 2020 giving. RELAXED LIMITATIONS ON DEDUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS. For individuals who choose to itemize their deductions, the CARES Act increases the allowable deduction for cash contributions to a qualified charitable organization to 100% of the individual’s adjusted gross income in 2020. If the contribution exceeds the limitation, the individual can still carry forward and utilize the excess amount over the following five years.
