Outside Services July 5, 2020!The Haven Church leadership team has taken every precaution to allow us to open for in-building services safely, including provisions for distancing, masks, hand sanitizers, and self-cleaningnanoSepticprotection for door surfaces. In spite of our efforts to provide for a safe in-building experience, we remain very concerned with the risks – even if small – associated with continuing to hold inside services. We have also heard your concerns with the enclosed nature of in-building services. You are our family, and we would not want to put you in a position where you are torn between wanting to attend church for the fellowship, yet remain fearful that you might put your family, or other members at risk.For these reasons, we have decided to suspend in-building services after June 28th, and resume our outside Sunday morning service on the lawn beginning July 5. Due to the hotter weather we will move our worship service to 9:00 am to take advantage of the cooler morning air. Please bring a lawn chair if you can, and we’ll continue to maintain distance, avoiding handshakes and hugs. Certainly, if you are sick in any way we would insist that you please stay home and watch the Facebook Live stream. If weather is not cooperative, we will hold services by online streaming only via Facebook Live.We are reminded that the Church is not a place, but it is the body of Christ – the people of God! For every service there is a safe and clean nursery available for your infant children. During the 11 am service on Sundays we have Children s Church for 3-5 year olds, where music, crafts, and Bible stories keep everyone involved. Our Junior Church is led by Youth Pastor Caleb Griffey for 6-12 year olds, and they can expect an exciting and interactive experience. Try to arrive a few minutes early and we ll make sure everyone gets to the right place. How Do I Get Involved?Haven Church is not just a place for spectators; it is a place where you can actively participate in avariety of activities and ministry opportunities.
