Central Ave. The term homeless children and youth means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence ;and includes:Children and youths who are sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason; are living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations; are living in emergency or transitional shelters; or are abandoned in hospitalsChildren and youths who have a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designed for or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accommodation for human beingsChildren and youths who are living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, bus or train stations, or similar settingsMigratory children who qualify as homeless for the purposes of this subtitle because the children are living in circumstances described in clauses (i) through (iii).SPS will make determinations on a case-by-case basis, considering what is known about each individual child s or youth s circumstances.Homeless Form (McKinney-Vento)Free Reduced Lunch Form On January 13, 2020, the SPS Board of Trustees approved the relocation of kindergarten students to West Side Elementary School and third-grade students to Central School for the 2020-2021 school year.20-21 West Side School Grade Configuration--Grades Pre-K, K, 1 and 220-21 Central School Grade Configuration--Grades 3, 4 and 5Parents will register students atthe school where eachgrade is located.
