Glenn Austin Drum Teacher Glenn started playing drums when he was nine years old after seeing a performance at his elementary school talent show. A student played a blue drum set along to a KISS song and he was hooked. Glenn played on everything that he could get tone out of with a pair of sticks his dad made for him out of wooden dowels. After a few years of books, pots and pans, Glenn got his first real drums at the age of 14. He started playing along to every song on the radio, learning all he could about every style of music he listened to. After playing house parties with different garage bands he and his friends put together, Glenn got a call from a real working band in the club scene. They spent the next couple of years playing every club and venue in north Texas and southern Oklahoma that would let them play. Eventually that led to Glenn’s first tour with a “road” band. After touring the Midwest for a while he got an audition with Vince Vance and the Valiants. They toured most of the southeastern U.S. After leaving the Valiants, Glenn freelanced with many artists, including two-time Grammy nominee and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Janie Fricke, finally getting a gig with former Head East lead guitarist and solo recording artist Ricky Lynn Gregg. Glenn is currently the touring drummer for Texas recording artist Tom McKelvain and the Dirty Pesos. Tim Harman Drum Teacher Tim Harman has been obsessed with every aspect of drums and percussion basically since he was born. Brought up in a musical family, he first latched onto the drums from observing the drum lines of the marching bands directed by his father. After receiving his first snare drum for Christmas at the age of eight, rhythm took over his life. He started gigging in Deep Ellum clubs at the age of 15, and embarked on his first tour the next year. In the 12 years since then, he has spent considerable time on the road with bands such as The Atom Age, PEARS, Informant, Detonate and Mose Giganticus, among others. In between stints on the road, he has been teaching private lessons, working in and operating drum shops (he founded The Ghost Note in downtown Denton in 2012), building and repairing drums, and doing basically anything there is to do in the realm of percussion. He's been busy, and never stops learning new ways to hit things with sticks. Johnathan Ballew Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Instructor Music is everything to Johnathan Ballew. He loves playing and listening to all different kinds of music. Johnathan believes in spreading positivity and music is a great way to do just that. Johnathan attended School of Rock when he was younger and found it very cathartic to be able to learn and create music with some great friends and teachers a few times a week. His favorite band is Foo Fighters. Reece Clark Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher Reece Clark started learning guitar at School of Rock Dallas in 2009, and after continuing through their program for a few years he eventually started playing in bands of his own. He then took his love for guitar and for learning to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where he studied guitar of all genres (including classical, jazz, pop and R&B) as well as music theory, live production and music business while still touring with his band outside of school.Since graduating, Reece has decided to pursue music as a career. His band Oh, Weatherly signed to Los Angeles-based record label Hopeless Records, put out their debut full-length album and hit the road. Since then, he’s toured across the entire United States and Canada with big name alternative acts such as Mayday Parade and Ryan Key of Yellowcard, performed on the final Vans Warped Tour, and most recently decided to put that same passion into teaching and possibly helping other kids find their love for music as well. He is a guitar teacher and bass guitar teacher at School of Rock Plano. Lindsay Campos General Manager Lindsay Campos had a passion for music ever since she was a little kid. She sang in her school’s choir from elementary school all the way until she graduated high school. From wanting to be a vet, to a music teacher and then a singer, she eventually continued to pursue her love for music through college.Lindsay moved to Nashville, Tennessee to study Music Business and Production at one of the well-known colleges for that industry, Belmont University. While in school she was able to train her voice commercially, work in historical recording studios on Music Row, and work with music labels and artists. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, specializing in Music Business with an emphasis in Production. Her ultimate goal is to own a record label and help artists get their music out. After growing up watching his father play, and seeing Kiss perform on the Paul Lynn Halloween special, his love of Rock and Roll was solidified and he knew this is what he wanted to do.After being in several local bands, and receiving guitar lessons from Dimebag Darrell of Pantera - his path led him to Hollywood, California to attend the Musicians Institute. Since then, he's had the opportunity to play with bands nationally and open for many iconic bands right here in the Dallas area. Bands such as Queensryche, Stryper, Drowning Pool, and Andy Timmons to name a few. Not to mention, having his music played on radio stations worldwide.
