Washington has many varying ecosystems including deserts, inland forests, craggy peaks, open valleys, agricultural croplands, massive canyons, rolling hills, rain forests, lakes, streams, big rivers, tidelands, San Juan Islands, and diverse marine waters. These ecosystems offer unequaled choices for hunting, fishing, trapping, and recreational opportunites.
