There are 5 Headliners across the 2 Dance Competitions and we host 2 separate Finals with major Cash prizes and Scholarships.Multi-Disciplinary Competition3 of the Top Educators in the industry will be adjudicating all of your dancers. They ll be separated ages, as well as recreational to accelerated levels to accommodate all your studios dance programs.Dance ConventionDancers will get the opportunity to work with our talented headliners in an energetic and inspiring setting.There will be a diverse set of classes, plus a bonus audition workshop, as well as a Learn It, Perform It experience! For your faculty we have our Teachers Convention, they ll receive new ideas and training techniques to get them inspired and ready for another great season of dance.Street Dance CompetitionThe same original competition we have hosted since 2006 with 2 international Hip Hop Dance Headliners featuring the Final Showdown and the highly anticipated ALL-STARS Crew Battles and Professional Showcases!Hip Hop Master ClassesA full day of 4 classes with our Street Dance headliners. Classes are held in a more intimate environment at a local dance studio. Watch moments from our past events WE AIM TO ProvidE a meaningful experience to every level of dancer. AE FEATURES Train in Jazz, Lyrical, MUSICAL THEATRE more! Challenge yourself in a full day of classes taught by the judges in a variety of styles, from Hip Hop to Contemporary. 2 levels: Junior 12 under + Teen 13+. HIP HOP masterclasses Level up at AE s Hip Hop masterclass series with 4 classes with our Street Dance headliners. For intermediate-advanced dancers. Perform an Original Tech Piece at Finals! Chosen multi-disciplinary dancers from the Tech Convention Teen Audition class will perform an original piece of choreography from one of our judges at the Multi-Discipline Finals.EDUCATION + TRAINING ARE #1As Canada’s first Competition Convention, we are proud to offer relevant, working professionals and educators as part of our esteemed panel of adjudicators. Our Headliners offer insight and give great feedback to our dancers and their choreographers to take their dancing to the next level. We have classes for every age division and discipline, including classes specifically designed for teachers and choreographers. Prior to the Finals, we host a full day dance convention so the dancers get a chance to work with the faculty and incorporate what they learn into their performances. We only hire the industry’s most reputable and qualified professionals to adjudicate our events.Our judging panel is comprised of two multi-disciplined adjudicators and two international street dance adjudicators to provide meaningful, specialized, and relevant feedback to each dance discipline. We host a Multi-Disciplined finals and a separate Street Dance finals as we believe they are two extremely different categories of dance, and we want to respect all dance disciplines.
