As part of this work, OPHD responds to complaints from persons who believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation on the basis of a protected category or activity. OPHD also has responsibility for preparing the annual written Affirmative Action Plan and program for minorities and women, persons with disabilities, and covered veterans.Because of a recent California appellate court ruling, the University has revised its Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Student Adjudication Framework to clarify when hearings are held to resolve sexual misconduct cases.
