FLYAP is a one-of-a-kind career exploration program. We connect students to advanced manufacturing companies through Matching Day events that lead to job shadows and paid co-ops.
Launched in the fall of 2019 by the Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA) and Monroe Community College (MCC), FLYAP partners with every BOCES and Career & Technical Education high school in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region.

To date, FLYAP has registered nearly 500 students for career exploration opportunities at 150 businesses in the region.
The Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program is the only program of its kind for advanced manufacturing in New York State.
