2022 UK TOUR - POSTPONED
We are beyond excited to be announcing UK tour dates for March 2022.
"We're just so excited to get back on the road again, we can't wait to see all our friends we've missed so much during this crazy time. We are ready to rock! We're planning to play some of the Spock's "classics" we know y'all love to hear, plus some surprises you haven't heard in a long time - or maybe ever! Come up and say hello! Hope everyone is rested up and ready for a major supernova of prog rock madness, cos we're bringing it, baby!"

It is with great regret that Spock's Beard is announcing the postponement of our upcoming UK 2022 Tour. We were super-excited to get back on the road and see everyone, it has been a long time since we've played live and we were really looking forward to it. We hope you will understand that with Omicron and the increased restrictions it just really became unworkable for us to tour just now.
We don't yet have new dates booked as things remain so uncertain, but know that The Beard Will Be Back live, rocking you harder than ever! We look forward to seeing you then!

NEW!!
Backin September we did a recording workshop at Sweetwater Studios, thestate-of-the-art studio where Nick works and the place where werecorded the drums for Noise Floor. Basically what happened was that weplayed approximately 30 minutes of music for a class of about a dozenrecording enthusiasts. They observed how everything was set up and howa typical album gets recorded. The songs were recorded live in thestudio and then mixed later. Artwork was created, copies were made, andyou can purchase one here!
Thesongs on this CD are On A Perfect Day (from "Spock's Beard", our 9thalbum), Hiding Out (from "Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep"), and GoThe Way You Go (from "The Light")

The preorder for our limited edition of Noise Floor is now live!
Thisunique set of vinyl albums plus CDs will be available in very shortsupply. It is a 2LP+2CD set and the thing that makes it so unique isthe color. They will be pressed on gold vinyl. (After all these yearswe'll finally have a gold record.) The first vinyl record of the set isthe main album, titled "Noise Floor" and contains 8 tracks. The 2ndrecord of the set is a four song EP titled "Cutting Room Floor". The 2CDs have the same content as the vinyl records.
Thisis a very limited run, less than 90 copies will be sold, and the goldcolor version of this release is only available to order here.
Shipping date is scheduled for May 25.
Due to the nature of this offering and the high cost of international postage we're only shipping to U.S. addresses. Sorry!!

Spock’s Beard announce their 13th studio album "Noise Floor" to be released on May 25, 2018.
TedLeonard, Alan Morse, Dave Meros & Ryo Okumoto are joined in thestudio once again by drummer & original member Nick D’Virgilio, whorecords his first album with the band since 2010’s ‘X’.
“Weare always about evolution, not revolution. But what we have done thistime is make the songs more melodic,” believes vocalist/guitarist TedLeonard. “We still love our crazy prog, but now appreciate howimportant it is to grab people's attention early on.”
Aswith all Spock's Beard songs, most of the new album was written by theindividual members, and then brought to the rest of the band as highquality demos. “We all do this type of thing in our home studios,” addsLeonard. “So, by the time they reach the stage where the entire bandget to judge them, they are really developed, and therefore everyonecan make a reasoned judgement.”
Thealbum was once again engineered by long-time collaborator Rich Mouserand will be released as a 2CD digipak (featuring an EP of material fromthe same sessions), gatefold 2LP + 2CD & as digital download.
