The idea of holding exhibitions in the land of Kurdistan of Iraq in 2005 started as aresult of non-viability of the Baghdad International Fair for its normal time because ofsecurity conditions and the use of exhibitions of Iraqi neighbouring states and foreigncountries by the regional government felt that it was the first establishment of suchexhibitions on the land of Iraq and create an appropriate atmosphere to identify theforeign investors and Arab businessmen to invest in Kurdistan, Iraq and to makeKurdistan a starting point for the reconstruction of Iraq as a whole.
In 2008 the Erbilpermanent member of the International Union of International Fair becameExhibitions (UFI).

Sending a letter of support
Sending a letter of support to the Ministry of Interior of the KurdistanRegional government regarding exhibitions.
Facilitate entrance of goods
Facilitate entrance of goods , commodities , machineries , equipment ofthe participant companies in the fair , by means of addressing relatedcustoms authorities to Facilitate entrance of them visa border pointsbelonging to Kurdistan Region Government.
Invite Regional government representative
Invite Regional government representative, central governmentrepresentatives, institutions, establishments and businessmen to attendthe fair
Preparation the fair
Preparation the fair in aspects of (Water services, bathrooms, cleaning thefair and external areas.
Supply electricity
Supply electricity power of (2 Mega watts) and substitutes in case cut- offwith electricity power generators with the same of the same Mega watts.
Preparation of opening ceremony hall
Preparation of opening ceremony hall and conferences equipped withtranslation, audio, video and illumination installations, as well aspreparation of VIP hall
Cover (pay)
Cover (pay) all the costs related to security aspect of the fair.
Provide internet
Provide internet service inside the Halls.
Preparation of Cafeteria
Preparation of Cafeteria with all necessary requirements in the allocatedarea and carry out providing the needed servicer during the fair.
