The University of Glasgow has asked us to build awareness of the 'Patient reported outcomes study' by asking patients to complete this survey.
If you have a diagnosis of advanced kidney or liver cancer, we would like you to take part.
The survey is part of a larger project (the PROMs project) organised by the University of Glasgow and the European Oncology Nursing Society, and will help better understand the patient perspective of living with advanced kidney or liver cancer.
The survey will take you around 15-20 minutes to complete.
Please also note that you don’t have to take the whole survey at once. You can start and then click ‘Finish later’ at the bottom of your screen, and can come back to it when you have time.

The researchers were looking for a link between the ratio of neutrophils to eosinophils with patient outcomes.

The results of the first two parts of the survey are being presented at the 2022 World Conference on Lung Cancer.

The research suggests the layout of these forms can make it difficult for patients to find the information they need, and the forms could be improved by a patient-friendly section highlighting key points.

They were given 8 weeks of treatment with axitinib with a break of one week before they had surgery to remove the tumour. More than 40% of patients had less complications during surgery than anticipated.
