Welcome to the International Association of Cryospheric Sciences
(IACS)

IACS is one of eight associations of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG). IACS aims to promote the advancement of cryospheric sciences of the Earth and the solar system. For example, IACS organizes bi-annual scientific meetings and supports international Working Groups, which are initiated by members. IACS offers a free membership.

STATEMENT ON UKRAINE

The International Association of Cryospheric Sciences (IACS) echoes the statement of the International Science Council (ISC) in expressing dismay and concern regarding the military offensives being carried out in Ukraine. We are deeply concerned for the people of Ukraine in this time of crisis and for all our members that are directly or indirectly affected by this conflict.
