Leah makes her Network Debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert!

“MissConduct” - a comedy horror written by Leah - made it to the final round for scripts in the New York Television Festival, was chosen to be a part of the Red Arrow Pitch Series, picked for the Creative Control Industry Reading at the renowned Friar’s Club and was one of five scripts selected at The Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta for Best Screenplay.
Leah is ecstatic to costar, coproduce and cowrite The Dawns with comedian Kendra Cunningham; a dark comedy about two best friends, both named Dawn, who live in South Boston and run a few blocks for the mob (directed by Corinne Fisher and filmed/edited by Dan Hirshon). The Dawns was an *Official Selection* of the Broad Humor Film Festival and premiered on Chris Gethard Presents.
Leah is thrilled that “Solving Leah” a comedic detective series that she wrote, starred in and produced with Frankenmel Films was an *Official Selection* of the New York Television Festival and The Portland Film Festival.
“Average Women with Average Rage” a comedy and storytelling show that Leah is doing with Ophira Eisenberg and Negin Farsad has been featured in the New York Comedy Festival,The SpeakUp RiseUp Festival, and was chosen by Comedy Central and Define American for the "Yes, and...Laughter Lab" social change initiative.
Leah was very excited to be a writer for Huffington Post's "Celebs Have Issues" series including writing on "Pinksourcing with Kristen Bell", and "Your Right to Be An Asshole With Reid Scott" which went viral!
Leah performed at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, for the District of Comedy Festival!
The Huffington Post named her one of their

She’s had two solo shows in NYC, Always with the Heart & Never with the Brain directed by Karen Sommers at The BMCC Theater and Wake Up and Yell at Me which had three runs at The PIT. Solving Leah, ahalf hour comedic detective series that Leah wrote, starred in and produced with Frankenmel Films, was an *Official Selection* of The New York Television Festival and The Portland Film Festival. Leah was delighted to be a part of Mark Altman’s staged performance of The Voyage Home for the 30th Anniversary of Star Trek at The Javits Center and she performed the closing monologue for A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer at The Manhattan Theater for V-Day. The NY Times said Leah is “one of the city’s most consistently excellent young comics” and The Scotsman called her “A force of nature.” Leah hails from rural Maine, was raised by fine artists and received her degree in With Honors from McGill University. She’s a member of EMILY’s List Creative Council andis currently writing MissConduct, a dark comedy that was showcased at The New York Television Festival Red Arrow Pitch series, was chosen to be a part of the Creative Control Industry Reading Series at The Friar’s Club and was one of four scripts nominated for *Best Screenplay* at The Atlanta Women’s Comedy Film Festival. Leah is the cohost of the new show Were You Raised By Wolves which made iTunes “New & Noteworthy” podcast list.
