Nice quality rings and bracket. Screws that came with them were flat head, which were crappy. Used a different style of screw that I provided. We needed to replace our rusty shutter dogs and had trouble finding all black aluminum. Very happy with the product and speed of delivery. We needed more room under sink for storage and we removed about 5 inches from the counter top with round sink for more elbow room. I like a more traditional look so I’m having a hard time getting used to it but i We pulled up the carpet from our home and replaced it with a "hardwood" tile throughout. Including the stairs. Almost immediately we regretting not having padded carpet on the stairs. It's just not comfy to walk on. Not to mention how unforgiving tile is to fall on (God forbid!).I decided to add a carpet runner with padding to soften the look as well as the steps. My research showed the stair rods help to keep the runner in place. I looked at Lowes and Home Depot but the selection was very limited and they didn't have the wider length I needed. I found these on Amazon. They were more expensive, but they were exactly what I needed. When I received them I realized they are much higher quality than the ones I found at Lowes and Home Depot. That made me feel even better about paying the higher price.They look wonderful. After a few years, I'm sure I'll have to replace the runner with a new one. That's the beauty of a stair runner vs wall-to-wall carpet. It's inexpensive to replace. My days of trying to clean carpeted stairs are over! The stair rods are easily removed to take away the old runner and easily reinserted once the new one is in place. For the price I was pretty sure these were going to be some sort of pressed metal with iron stamp. Nope! Great looking and durable iron handles. I used them for a home project and they look and feel great. I needed one carpet rod holder to replace a broken one. This product was just a bit smaller than the one I was replacing but not noticeably once in place. It also lacked a hole to mount the finial but brass is easy to drill. So for a 1/3 of the price for a perfect match and a little work, I have a great replacement. And don't let the picture in the listing fool you, the item is a nice shiny brass just as you'd expect. This is a nice item. I got it for an unconventional purpose. When they built my house, this hose bib did not get a escutcheon like it needed to hide the hole in the siding. The flange is aluminum, It's not solid on the back, but there is enough of a rim that should I decide to attach it to the wall with caulk it will work. It should snap together and apart easily.
