We will quickly get in touch to discuss your requirements and send you a copy of our Terms and Conditions.​We then match your requirements to the candidates we have on our database and identify those we consider the best match for you and your family. We will send you a copy of their CV and a summary profile for you to choose who you would like to meet. We would also advertise your vacancyand add it to our Latest Jobs mailing to all childcare professionalsregistered with us. All our candidates have been interviewed and screened to assess their suitability. We thoroughly check their identity andqualifications by inspectingoriginal documents. Every candidate will havean up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate . They will have a current paediatric First Aid qualification. or be booked on an appropriate course to obtain one. Every candidate will have at least twoyear s paid professional work experience in childcare or a Level 3 childcare Qualification. ​​Candidates areasked to sign Terms of Representation and provideinformation regarding any on-going medical conditions. Polkadot take references from the candidates two most recent employers. These must cover at least two years employment, if not, more references will be taken.​Any new candidate applying for a particular position will be expected to be fully screened accordingly in order for their application to be considered.​​In this current crisis, the first interview will take place via video link and it is strongly recommended that the second interview takes place in an outdoor setting, such as your garden.After discussing the match, with your approval, we will arrange for you to interview your chosen candidatesat a convenient location. We would recommend that the first interview is conducted without the children.Feedback is then gathered from both parties and the decision can be made whether to hold a second interview, where the candidate meets your family and children.A trial childcaresession may be appropriate after this stage.
