We have teamed up with Alnwick Playhouse and Queens Hall Arts Centre Hexam to bring you Christmas with the Hobs: A Digital Christmas Event!It s Christmas Eve at Nana s house and Tyler and Eliza are waiting for Dad to pick them up to start the celebrations. But when plans change, they must work together to create a Christmas to remember, with some hob-shaped help of course! Join them as they discover what really makes Christmas special, with mishaps and mayhem along the way.Tickets are FREE and allow you to stream Christmas with the Hobs any time between 11am on 12th December and 11.50pm on 31st December. If you wish to donate you can do HERE.IMPORTANT NOTICEDue to new Government restrictions coming into place on Wednesday 2 December, The Maltings Theatre and Cinema and Cafe Bar will remain closed. This is a very unfortunate occurence but the safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority. We will keep everyone updated as and when we get more information. We thank you all for your continued support.However, although we cannot bring your our usual festivities this Christmas, we are offering a very special digital Christmas programme, so watch this space!HELP THE MALTINGS SURVIVEWe are currently closed until it is safe to reopen our doors again. Despite cutting our costs right back, we are aware that we need to make some big changes to be in line with new social distancing measures. Currently we do not know when we will be able to open our doors and this has had a great financial impact on us. There will be a continued financial strain when we can welcome you back as there will inevitably be a capacity limit for venues like ours.Your generosity at this time is greatly appreciated by the whole team.A NOTE TO ALL CUSTOMERS: If you have booked for an event which has unfortunatley been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic, the full amount of your purchase will be credited to your Maltings account which you will be able to use for future purposes.
