Holden has also written three separate letters to owners of thee vehicles explaining the action Holden was taking and what the owner could do. If you believe you have been denied a remedy by Holden in the past in relation to your model year 2007/2008 Holden CG Captiva vehicle fitted with a 2.0L diesel engine, you did not pursue a warranty claim because of comments made to you by Holden or a Holden dealer, or if you feel that you did not obtain an appropriate resolution to an issue with your vehicle, please contact Holden and your claim will be re-assessed. You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, modified or restricted by Holden. If your model year 2007/2008 Holden CG Captiva vehicle fitted with a 2.0L diesel engine has failed to meet a statutory consumer guarantee, you have the rights to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. The remedies will depend on whether the failure is a minor or major failure. A major failure with a vehicle includes when a reasonable consumer would not have bought the vehicle if they had known about the problem.
