WelcomeThe Elizabethan is a beautiful 19th century pub, and the number one place to meet, eat and drink in Heaton Moor. Indoors we offer cosy spaces to enjoy a coffee, a drink with friends, or fantastic pub food. Our menus offer delicious, fresh pub favourites, and now includes a choice of stone-baked pizzas, perfect with a pint of Manchester Craft Lager! Our famous Sunday roast served with all the trimming is a great way to end the weekend with friends and family. Our spacious terrace at the front of the pub is ideal for sunny days, and a great location for evening dinner and drinks.The pub remains a hub of the community all year round with home cooked food served throughout the day and a fantastic collection of real cask ales, craft beer, wines and spirits. Built in 1874, The Elizabethan started life as Bampton House, a private residence. In the early 1900s it was established as a private members club (under the same name) and it wasn’t until the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977 that it became the public house we know today. Thought it would just be pub grub but it was much better. All food was fresh and beautifully cooked and the choices were good much better than the normal pub grub. Will definitely visit again. My wife and I went last night. I had the T Bone and she had the Fillet. Both were cooked to perfection and the Blue Cheese sauce was very tasty. Service was great too! Had a great time! The service was great, food was great, will be going back again. Just like to thank Scott and the team for a great night service we wanted for nothing.
