Update (April 27th, 2020): The Dallas Ear Institute is committed to your health and safety. During the COVID-19 pandemic we have continued to provide care for our patients through telehealth visits while closely monitoring and adhering to government guidelines. Now that Texas and Dallas County are seeing a downward trend of COVID-19 infections.We are so incredibly pleased to announce that we will start seeing patients in the office on May 4th!!COVID-19 Cleaning ProtocalTo ensure safety of our patients and staff, we ask that patients wear face coverings as recommended by the CDC. In addition, we are encouraging physical distancing by limiting the numbers of patients in the office at one time. Patients have the option to wait in their cars or in the atrium in front of our office for their appointment and one of our staff members will contact them by call or text when the provider is ready to see them. At this time, only the patient is allowed in the office under most circumstances. For children or patients that require a family member, one adult may accompany them to the appointment. Between each patient encounter, the exam room, exam chair, and instruments are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with medical-grade disinfecting solutions. We also maintain stringent handwashing techniques before and after each patient. All providers and staff members are provided with personal protective equipment to lessen potential exposure. For our more vulnerable patients or patients who prefer to stay home, we will continue to provide care through telemedicine Monday-Friday 8 am-2 pm.
