The effort to increase our diversity in Computer Science has been energized by our participation in BRAID . We have graduated 34% female for the last two graduating classes, nearly double the national average graduation rates. Our ability to send a greater number of our students to the Grace Hopper Conference for Women in Technology as well as additional diversity conferences each year has been directly related to our part in the BRAID initiative. Computer Science students continue to build a community that encourages women and underrepresented minorities to pursue studies in Computer Science.
