Welcome to the Channel Islands Procurement Portal This portal is designed to allow the sharing of information about existing contracts and forthcoming tender opportunities across the Government of Jersey. As well as being used for single large projects, Departments will also be able to use the system for obtaining repeated low value quotations from registered suppliers. The following processes can be managed using the portal: Supplier registrations Expressions of interest Pre-qualification and selection Electronic tendering and quotations Supplier and contract management The system is purely web based and therefore requires no software to be held on either buyers or suppliers IT systems. No specialist or expensive equipment is required to access the tendering system, just a basic computer with access to the web and a valid e-mail address. There are no registration or subscription charges to suppliers – it is totally free of charge – and the registration process itself is very quick and user friendly! A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) can be accessed on the left of the screen to provide a bit more information on etendering.
